What happens if you accidentally unplug while it’s flashings my car won’t start now and the Ecu got sent to uprev to retrieve the lost files. I wonder how long it will take to have them fix it. Sent it to them last Wednesday.
I heard it could mess up the ecu. It happened to me towards the very end when I uploaded for the first time and nothing happened. But my tuner said it could have the potential of messing up the ecu. You should get title back soon from z1
My cruise control buttons don’t work. When I try to change maps nothing happens, I’ve been stuck on the default map for a month. I’ve replaced my steering wheel and clockspring and still nothing
So my Z has been tuned but I’m not sure what type of maps I have I’ve switched through multiple they all seem the same besides map 3 just shuts the car off
That might be a valet type mode. Unfortunately thats something you'd have to ask a previous owner or have a tuner look at your individual maps to see what they are
Yes you purchase the license and receive a cable. Then download the software online. The standard kit is the $500 one and the one to get if you dont plan on tuning your car yourself.
For example i buy uprev for stock 350z, do i have some free maps to use? Then add headers and retune/reflash again to remove CEL. Or how this else works? Do you pay for every retune after every mod?
Yeah when you purchase you get 5 different maps that a tuner can add different stuff too. Like let's say map 1 is a 91 performance tune, map 2 can be a fuel economy tune, map 3 can be a valet tune so it wont go above a certain mph ect. Once you start adding mods and want to tune for those, you'll have to pay for a tuner to retune your car for those mods. So yes itll cost a couple hundred each time you do that. So I recommend to get all your mods done first and then tune. So you only have to tune once

Ok because I bought the car with a few mods like intake and spacer oil catch and NRG steering wheel so I’m not sure what buttons are there and how would I switch if I don’t have the buttons? Thanks
On an NA setup probably up to 10hp increase, but these numbers just depend on how aggressive the tune is, the E85 mix, ect. On a boosted setup I've seen 100hp increases. Allows to run cooler which means you can tune the engine more aggressively
@@OPDrags sooo. Just picked up an 07 it's stock except cat back to mufflers . It's an automatic . My question is what can you do to improve shift points on this car. It shifts smoothly I just want some harder , quicker shifts ( that's what she said) thanks for your time. I love the car it's just lacking a bit in the power department.
The tuning software uprev can help, increase the line pressure to get more aggressive shifting Or getting a transgo shift kit. Which will feel better than just tuning the trans and overall be a bit better. My transmission is tuned a bit more aggressive and I love it, but Ill be doing the transgo shift kit for overall quicker shifts

Hmm might be something else electrical then. Maybe just check over the wires if you can

E85 isn't so beneficial on a naturally aspirated engine. More gains on a turbo car
