I assume they don't include a hydrometer because the kits are only 1 gallon and they don't want their customers to lose beer to hydrometer samples. Most of their kits are %5, they do list the ABV on their website for each kit. Cheers
my husband bought two kits. the hops were cheesy smelling and the grains where over crushed. he knows about homebrewing over 10 years experience. he is getting old wanted to downsize from 5 gallon batches.
Just rack it into a secondary fermenter for a few days before bottling should clear out a bunch - however the cloudy yeast poo is full of vitamin k so - cheers to healthy beer
Why do you put your own spin on it? Your c9nfusing. For some reason google gives me this trash. There's much better videos out there on how to properly do this for beginners.
Have you tried brewing a Brooklyn Brew Shop beer kit?
I'm considering
I started with the Punk ipa kit....don't get me wrong...if it tastes good..a cloudy brew doesn't phase me
thanks for not overproducing/overediting the video
Cheers!
Where do you have the bottling video?
What a great video, I mean honestly lol it’s refreshing to look something up and find what you need and good instructions for it 👍
Thanks!
Any idea what the finished ABV is? I noticed they don't include a hydrometer for checking the starting/finished gravity.

Bottling video?
Just use the grain bag as a filter/strainer for your mash. I have always had better results when pitching the milled grain directly into the water.
Good tip. Cheers!
Where’s the next video?
When do I add the sugar?
Hi, you add the carbonation sugar when you bottle the beer.
Could you use a crockpot?
I'm not sure, it would need to be big enough to hold at least 6 liters of water and bring it to a boil.
Hi, just about to order my first kit. I was wondering if the beer will be carbonated after its done? 1st time brewing, want to try it out. Thanks.
Hello, you will need to add carbonation drops or dextrose to your bottles in order to carbonate the beer. Cheers

That's to bad, sounds like he got old kits.
If your beer looks as clear as the thumbnail...you are some kind of brewing legend.....the real thing is really rather cloudy
Hello, use whirlfoc or irish moss in the boil. If it's still cloudy try cold crashing with gelatin or biofine clear. Cheers

Please list the quantities
Hello, what quantities are you looking for?
My girlfriend said you adding water to jug after mash is WRONG !!
We boiled off more than anticipated so we had to add water into the fermenter.
They say right in the kit instructions to add make up water if you are short on the gallon due to losses during boiling.

Thanks for the feedback. Cheers
