Society as a whole is in trouble if people look to Jeffree Star as the pinnacle of truth and honesty. If you want an honest opinion, go find a makeup channel that's not monetized yet. No point in lying about products if you have zero incentive to do so.
Disclosure: I don't do TikTok and I've never seen that Mikayla person before watching this, but my goodness -- that face with the truly awful cosmetic falseness should be your first clue to run away from the content. We've all seen it, and we know it when we see it: the false endorsement. I've unsubscribed from people I watch just for a hint of insincerity, and will continue to do so. I really wish the whole idea of "influencer" as a job just goes away. You're just shilling products or ideas to make money on line. Not terribly different from door to door sales people. I do LOVE a good MUA (Wayne Goss, for example) who does well- explained and inclusive tutorials, the second they start shilling, I'm OUT.

Sorry but all these influencers are lying at some point. It’s all about the cash. Follow the money
