Trying to understand the point of pulling up beside a car and redlining your engine because they did something that pissed you off .... when you ride in traffic , you have to expect other drivers to do something stupid , because they DO .... It's on you to minimize the risk , plain and simple .... riding a bike is dangerous enough .... doesn't matter whose fault it is .... if you get into an accident with a car , you're gonna lose 100%

3:30 kids glued to the screen are so sad and pathetic, the parents that enable it are the worst. Put the screen down and look outside, itβs beautiful and sometimes you see a motorcycle go sliding through the intersection π, infinitely better than a stupid video game.
Most of these videos the riders press to make a point. You can see the issue develop way before they react, so you yell and rev the engine, how stupid.
I don't own a car but 6 motorcycles. This is my problem with these guys. Try to make a big fuss. You are not easily seen on the road as motorcycle or people underestimate your speed (as most are speeding) or make and honest mistake. Most of these situations are not a big deal but they make it a big deal....

The channel should just be called Noob Mistakes. If you are a newb rider, use your throttle, clutch, engine braking and brakes to resolve issues. Never hand gestures and definitely never use your horn.

@@themrlace, Not just bikers. If you know an over the road trucker driver, go out on the road with them and see all the crazy shit that goes on. Had a 4 wheeler behind me in a construction zone on the interstate highway. Well he decided that he was entitled and should not be stuck behind a line of trucks with left lane closed. The speed limit was 55 MPH through the zone. Then comes the blue sign "Rest Area 2 miles".
What does he do? Soon as we get to the rest area ramp he lays on the gas and speeds through a crowded with kids rest area at over 75MPH. The result? He did not hit anyone, gave me the finger and only moved up 2 trucks.
drivers can't read your mind if you aren't going with the flow of traffic. No one is "cutting you off" if they change lanes in a 40 and you zip by at 65.
1:40 Bus starts moving over at the same time as the bike (so the bike literally wasn't there when the driver should have checked). Yes the bus couldv'e indicated, but it didn't (neither did the bike). Bike had all the time in the world to back out.
Yes the bus driver has the chance of seeing you in their mirror. That, though, relies on said driver looking in that particular mirror, and leaves a lot of other stuff unseen. They can't stare at the thing all the time.
IMO it's pretty obvious that the bus is changing lanes from the way it's aligned and already a bit across the line. You could see that situation coming from couple metres before the stopping line & the white car to the left, so the biker had plenty of time to stop.
You forgot that the rider was directly behind the bus in a blind spot.

It sounded like he was having a panic attack. Yeah, he was getting way too emotional about nothing. I think he was probably speeding judging by how fast he was passing the other cars (see the full video). If you speed in traffic, then don't cry like a baby when people don't see you!
He's hyperventilating and squeaky out of pure agitation and anxiety - because he's an emotional basket-case that's in no way in control of himself and ready to go crazy over even the smallest thing... The kind of person you really need to try your best to make sure is no part of your life.
She's shifting gears should worry less about her gears and more about staying on the road.

There are a lot of issues wrapped up in that.... in that situation, she's riding far outside of her current ability - sometimes, that's not a matter of bravery, it's a matter of very bad judgment.
That IS practice. Whether you agree or not, that IS how people learn to Dual Sport a bike.

People do need to be sensible and there are several basic skills she needs to master and improve before she's ever entitled to consider that trail, "practice" - just listen to her engine revolutions and try and make yourself believe that she has full command of a clutch...

I had a riding buddy go through a barb wire fence a few years back, it took two bottles of iodine to cover his punctures and scratches. All because he loved the feel of the wind on his skin. (his excuse)
He wasn't in love with the pain though. :)

7:40 Love the determination. I also off road with an 800GS and there are ways to tame the throttle a bit so it's more controllable and you're not afraid to open it
I rode my bike (350 Honda Daytona) to work and around all the time. Even in the wilnter. Maybe people were more careful of bikes then. Never had these kinds of problems. Maybe some riders just attract this s**t. Have fun and stay safe. Watch your surroundings while riding and be courteous, please. This will extend the life of your bike and maybe yours also.

As a motorcyclist, a lot of the times the motorcyclists are over reacting and flaming the situation. Of course no one wants to knock us down - most of the time they are unaware. It's our job to be aware from them and fking them after the fact does not get anywhere. You should be happy you rode away from something and celebrate it :) We've all had a few of those.

I don't know what I enjoyed most, the riderless motorcycle merrily sliding through a red light and an entire intersection, or the lady whose idiot husband told her that a $25,000 motorcycle and a couple grand worth of gear would make her an instant enduro rider. @ 1:10 Once AGAIN... It's a very BAD habit to accelerate at the same time as you add lean angle... STOP THAT, and you won't wash out like that nearly as often. Just because you've gotten away with doing it wrong doesn't mean you know better. It's just a terrible practice, because sooner or later, it's GOING to bite you in the ass... just like this.
...AND if you didn't intend to be accelerating, you NEED to work on that throttle control. ;o)
The same logic applies to downshifting mid corner , then immediately dumping the clutch ... if you're wheelspeed isn't close to engine/transmission speed ,, that's gonna be a problem ...
