I don't know if you'll see this, but at the top of the feed bags there's a string and on one of the ends if you pull the single string it will unravel the top stitching and the paper comes off to open the bag! No more looking for knives or scissors. Love your videos, you're the cutest! 😍💕

You should try scrambling the eggs in the skillet. I personally think they turn out sooo much better! Here’s what I do…
    1) Put butter in the skillet
    2) Crack the eggs into the skillet
    3) Break the yolk and mix it up
    4) Pour in some milk
    5) Continue cooking like scrambled eggs

This video was very helpful. I’m new at this since 11/21. I now have 7 chickens. I keep second guessing myself, but your daily routine is exactly what I do. Yay! I never see my chickens eating their lay feed. They act like they are starving. I give them their treats or snacks when I get home in early evening. I’m just concerned they are not getting everything they need food wise.

We have two week old chicks (first timers!) and have found your videos to be so helpful! I am finding it so interesting that you are free ranging them at the hobby farm. We live on ten acres but do have a couple of neighbors. We don’t know if we should let them out during the day or not when we move them to the coop. Will they bother the neighbor’s lawn? Neighbor has a German shepherd, so that’s probably not a good situation. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Mine are still very young so I keep them in the run for now, but I'll use the same technique to get them to come back to the run when they are older and start free-ranging. I also have guineas and that works very well for them. They are also young but hopefully that will work to get them back in the run and coop for the night after they start free-ranging.

I have one favor to ask could you please move your head a little bit to your left so I can see what is behind your coop? I also have a nice privacy fence but only on 25% of my property so it's going to be a challenge to keep predators though initially long term since I'm on a fixed income. Thanks for all the good info and have a happy New Year 🐣

Sad to see people with home grown eggs to scramble them and eat them….you loose ALL nutrients and all your hard work growing the hens when u hard scramble eggs .also you turn the good cholesterol into bad …if you like scramble eggs , then cook them “ soft” or known as “ wet” . A little shinny like 80 percent cooked . Then u won’t loose all the goodness. Or better yet eat them sunny side up or over easy or medium for best nutrition value

How did you teach them “home” we have 10 acres and just got 12 chickens. Would love to let them free range the yard!

I remember in one of your older videos you said you hated hay, you would never use it but you did not specify why and now I see you using it so are their any cons to it? not trying to call you out purely just wondering.
