What power solution do you use to power your other equipment? Is there a second battery on the boat? Does the sonar equipment gets interference when drawing from the battery ?
It's all drawing from the same battery, a GPS fish finder combo draws very little power and the motor charges the battery while you run. If you always start with a hot battery, you'll never have an issue
I see you’ve never done a review of a side console design. I’m the market to purchase one for fishing and for pleasure. Me and my wife would like to be sitting together on the back bench with the removable back rest. Are the side console setups not as popular?
So I haven't ordered one yet. And I don't generally suggest couples sitting on the back deck together. The outboard is basically a third person and it could lead to swamping
