A couple of minutes ago, I watched an expert pannel on Polish TV, broadcasting the 18th Chopin Competition. One of the professors said: "Some are made winners of this competition, but only few are born for it. Zimerman and Blechacz surely were born to be the winners". Couldn't agree more.
I just get the idea to check his performance as you did. May oh may. O__o Half of the 2021 competitors sound like an amateurs. It'a bit exgariated, but i agree with you. ;)
This young man pianist has rare unique real beautiful sensitive touch that make you to listen every single note deep into the heart , fingers movement are very delicate , very flexible , I think he delivers Chopin's soul to us not just playing beautiful concerto to win competition , brilliant , very enjoyable !!!!!

the genius of this performance is the ability to seemlessly integrate the disparate emotions of the piece...Tenderness, romanticism, drama, intrigue, determination, the feeling of a hug, are all portrayed and the transitions between emotions never engender a moment of doubt from the listener surely one of the alltime great performances

Nooo, Azjaci grają zupełnie inaczej i nie jestem w stanie się tym cieszyć, ile razy słyszę-nawet i wirtuozerską- grę tego koncertu czy innych dzieł Chopina, mam ochotę skrytykować "ale to miało być zupełnie inaczej" - miało być o czymś innym, to mi brzmi zupełnie obco i nie oddaje polskiego temperamentu. Uwielbiam wykonania Zimmermana i Blechacza, są bardzo "nasze". I czułość nasza, i są iskry. Uwielbiam.

International Chopin Piano Competition is one of the oldest music competitions in the world - one of great, world prestige. This recording is from 2005. Blechacz won this competition.
FYI: This performance took place in Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall during the final stage of The 15'th International Chopin Piano Competition where Rafal Blechacz won the 1'st prize (october 2005).

3악징 마지막 코드가 나오지도 않았는데 우레 같은 함성소리가 모든걸 말해주네요. 폴란드인에게 전해져 내려오는 영혼이 있네요. 아무리 외국인들이 높은 테크닉기술로 따라해도 완성하지 못하는 선천적인 무언가가 너무나 아름답습니다. 처음 e마이너 코드부터 최근 모든 연주가들을 압도하네요.. 쇼팽이 환생한 거 같아요…😮
1악장 후반부의 서정적인 부분은 이번 쇼팽콩쿨의 케이트 리우와 비교하면 흥미롭다.관현악과의 조화와 전개측면에서 블레하츠의 저런 안정적 힘의 세기는 올바르다고 본다.케이트리우는 여성연주자의 감성을 적나라하게 아름답게 표현했다.이부분의 연주시간도 더 길다고 느낀다.개인적으론 조성진,케이트,블레하츠,윤디리.등등의 연주가 중 이부분이 가장 마음에 드는것은 케이트였다.하지만 곡 전체로 볼땐 블레하츠가 갑인것같다.

強さ、儚さ、甘さ、切なさ、気品…すべての魅力を備えてる。そしてこの顔。ほんとに生ショパンはこんなだったんじゃないか？彼の体を借りて時をこえてショパンが演奏しにきてくれたのでは？と思いたくなる…
その後の覇者、チョ・ソンジン君もブルース・リウ君もすごく素敵だけど、顔を見るとうちの近所のお兄ちゃんにもいそうというか、私と同じアジア人だなあ😂
もちろん、ヨーロッパのものだったピアノが世界中に広まった結果でもあるので、それはそれで素晴らしいんですけどね😌♪
やはりブレハッチさんのピアノは説得力がダントツです👏

오직 2005년도 콩쿨 결선 연주, 이때에만 쇼팽이 라팔블레하츠에게 접신했다고 밖에 생각이 들지않네요
그후의 연주들은 평범했으니까요 이런 소울이 없어요

정말 그런듯요, 작년 콘서트에 갔었는데 개인적으로 기댈 넘 많이 한탓인지 연주에 별 특별함을 못느꼇어요
정말입니다..이 연주만큼 깊이있는 블레하츠의 연주가 더 없네요 발매음원도 이거에 못미쳤고요
어찌되었든 이 실황은 저한테 최고의 쇼팽피협 1번입니다..2악장은 특히 그렇네요

혈통에 흐르는 소울이 있는 거 같음. 삶에 쌓여진 모든 것들이 외국인들은 표현할 수 없는 그런 예술의 경지로 나오는 거 같아요.
