- Jul.25 -- Virgin Group Founder Richard Branson says getting bumped off of a flight on the way to the Virgin Islands led him to charter his own flight -- and eventually start his own airline. He spoke in the new episode of "The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations," taped May 31.
When I worked as an airport taxi driver I would often joke about Virgin by wondering outloud if it was in reference to the flight crew or the passengers.
We at BA as engineers help Virgin a lot. I remember his first Jumbo being in our hangar and spotted that the engine move a good deal and when the cuff panels were removed found the pylon attachment to the wing was cracked. In all my years working at Heathrow did any work be it Iran Air or Ethiopian was any work not done to the best standard.
A wonderful interior design...

The "Dream thief "....
Please explain
Voted Britain's most hated airline. Funny then that they would use the slogan 'most loved'.
