I love some of the bullsh*t this series pulls with Ben's transformations. For example, the Tetramand trial by combat. They rule that he has to be a Tetramand to declare the trial but he doesn't have to _stay_ a Tetramand. It's the kind of legal loophole that only exists because nobody else has ever been able to do it and it's simultaneously genius and f*cking stupid
Ben 10 seems like a simple show but they get into some serious topics. That one episode with this tortured alien begging Ben to kill him so he could reunite with his wife and child (in front of the killer and his family by the way) makes me break down every time.
I didn't think it was his family's killer. It was the guy that locked him in a cell for just being an alien for years only for his family to be killed while he was stuck there. But I may be remembering it wrong

Alien Force was probably the peak of the series, Ultimate Alien was the most disconnected between important arcs because of filler episodes and Omniverse had a rocky beginning but by the time it ended I'd say that it was probably the closest in quality to the Original and Alien Force series tho still behind because of some plotlines and their resolutions that I didn't enjoy as much.

@@julioc.3158 they're used a handful more times but they're more focused on that for the first arc, for obvious reasons. Malware is like top 5 Ben 10 villains. Either on 3 or 4. Since I was still taking about that arc. The other two, Khyber and Dr Psychobos are pretty good as well. Khyber is a bit more on the 1 dimensional side but it works for him. And Dr Psychobos is pretty funny, and I use the term losely.
My favorite part about reactions to this particular timeline is that people get so used to the insanity that when The Ink Tank drops "George goes to Area 51, teleports the entire base onto the side of a mountain, and uses it as a base to perform his operations" nobody bats an eye. Somehow, no one points out the absurdity of _that specific sentence._
I don't remember what I said anymore lol but I see their relationship as just toxic mostly due to ben but also just in general. Julie I liked just not her and ben together.

The fact that the enitre Ben Prime Timeline and the Omniverse as a whole is simply a timeloop, Ben gets the omnitrix to save No Watch Ben so that he can omnitrix to save no watch ben x1000 and Maltruint was meant to lose so he can be rebuilt and destoryed over and over again, and why the Omnitrix picked Feedback and not Alien X was because the Omnitrix knows that Feedback is strong enough to contain it which I mean Feedback is op thats why young Ben was so addicted in using Feedback
Ben doesn't like Alien X because Ben doesn't trust himself enough that he won't use Alien X so much that the natural progression of the universe would be dishonest and artificial.
And also being the fact that it was unreliable to use and ltr learnt there are laws and rules to universal changes and the main point before was to not allow ppl like Albedo have access. Since Omnitrix is basically a terminal, not hard for smarter opponents to create one and basically jack the connection for transformation
to be clear, an Ultimate Saiyan would be NATURALLY stronger than any variant of the saiyan species we know of BUT they would have no formal combat knowledge and so Ben would need to learn to apply their abilities himself. TL:DR he'd be stronger than BASE Goku and possibly SSj1&2 but he'd lack the martial arts that push Goku well beyond what he should actually be capable of and God and things beyond that would stomp outright Ben doesn't get by on just being the best version of whatever alien he becomes, it comes down to his own craftyness, teamwork, and luck
basically if he scanned Superman he'd be stronger than superman but if he scanned Goku he'd probs become like Vegeta start of series or even stronger than that

Honestly this is just a collection of major events in the series, there are a lot of smaller unrelated storylines that are just as fun as this, plus I do recommend watching it from the beginning to end because you'd be surprised at how mature and competent Ben is, he's not all transformations with Ben, even without the alien powers he's still a capable fighter and could hold his own, as to why Alien X isn't present often, its the same reason as to why superman doesn't just throw people into the sun or speed blitz them with a mountain shattering punch, Ben holds back and only uses Alien X as a last ditch move because he didn't want to overdo it and use excessive force even when he has full control over Alien X, and ben has more than just 2 love interests, the classic series introduced Kai, alien force introduces Julie and Omniverse gave Ben a harem of human and alien girls alike, 3 of them being princesses of alien civilizations if I'm not wrong
Yes. Contamelia are the official creators of the universes. Celestialsapiens often alter the universal laws but they don't interfere creating universes even though they are capable of doing so. They spend their time outside of the universe debating in peace.
37:15 BTW, the funniest situation here. Like, just a dude, regular guy, he was sitting in cafe, eating and then, Ultimate Kevin, that big amalgamation of aliens came to him and was like "I am Kevin Levin! Give me 10$, that you borrowed from me 5 years ago!" he answered, that he don`t remember it and then, he ended up in hospital. Wounds are not too serious, though, couple of broken bones.
Something that I personally found interesting watching the series is how Kevin's powers advance. Season one of AF he's just able to armor his body- but later in the series he's able to completely transform his body into the material he absorbs- first noticed when he had a hole punched through his chest in a metallic form and just patched himself up.
This was fun to see a ben 10 fan (Cerby) and a ROOKie (Zero) watching the entire story of Ben 10 by the ink tank, and look forward to watching more of you guys reaction.
I’m just realised that the black ops division of the plumbers preformed experiments on child soldiers that were of the age of 11 - 13 and said to all of them “this is your new home” then after was like you are such a failure you shouldn’t even remember me and just wiped their memories 😂
I kind of agree with the Kai situation. I do like the IDEA of her being Ben's proper love interest, but the way they went about their """"romance"""" was incredibly toxic and forced, and she only showed up in like 4 episodes of the last aired season where most of the time they bicker and argue more than anything (one of the episodes also giving us a super dumb reason for Ben renaming one of his aliens, the name itself isn't exactly bad even though I still find it not exactly fitting compared to what it used to be, but it was handled extremely poorly like the romance as a whole). It's speculated that their actual chemistry and romance would have been explored, but it was already kind of build on shaky ground and was incredibly forced so I don't know how well it would have worked out. Plus Omniverse's reliance on making Omniverse's Ben 10K the "NO SERIOUSLY THIS IS BEN'S FUTURE!!!" end goal was not great, especially when the series already stated that Ben's future is incredibly malleable. Plus their reliance on trying to make it that the Classic Ben 10K is the "canon" one is kind of dumb and makes the Classic reliance feel even more heavy handed than it already was. Because they used the excuse of "THEY'RE FATED TO BE TOGETHER!" robs both of them their agency as characters and love interests, the only way they could go about it in a meaningful manner was if they went the Justice League Unlimited route of "the idea isn't off the table, but I won't be "fate's" pawn" with John Stewart (Green Lantern) and Shayera Hol (Hawkgirl). I DO like that we have an in-universe excuse for any retconning in the form of the Celestialsapians just messing with the universe on a whim, which was showcased in a meta joke in Omniverse pointing out the change in art styles between the 3 Prime universe related shows. Granted for the finale, I kind of wish it was Alien X that stopped Maltruant's Annihilargh, but I DO get the thematic use with Feedback.

36:03 Actually, I think Celestialsapiens only have 2 personalities, Ben is just an additional 3rd for Alien X, and, prior to Omniverse, he only needed a 2/3rd vote to get Alien X to do something. All other Celestialsapiens require a unanimous vote between their 2 voices, and in Omniverse that rule of "unanimous decision" got applied to Alien X as well, if I recall correctly.

Nope, it's always been 3, it's stated in one of the episodes that when Ben turns into Alien X, he "takes the place of the 3rd voice". It's explained that they all have 3 voices so that there's always a tie-breaker eventually.

I know this is an old video, but I had to say. Highly recommend the video "How Would Ben 10 Handle the Warhammer 40k Universe?" By Buster McThunder. It's a very interesting watch even if you don't really remember/know much about Ben 10, given that you have the 40k side to compare to.
Its because the predators have a savage nature and they even tested on a human once and i did nit work becuase the predators have a savage nature that humans cant control.
And the differenc is that the predators have developed a societe and a race where they have intelegence say you where a human the prey aliens have the same technology and brain that humans do while the predators are like an ecuivalent to bassicaly a savage animal.
i though tits gonna show each one of the shows of ben 10 shows (classic, alien force-new aliens, reboot, ect.) in separate parts in this vid, for each alteration of the show got her own future, which make each one an alternative reality (and lets face it - it was about marketing, not in putt actual effort on plot or design and art style)

He’s not wrong. Except for a few exceptions, cartoons are crap in comparison to what I had growing up. I was born in 78, and grew up watching cartoons, like the original transformers, G.I. Joe, ThunderCats, and the real Ghostbusters. 😊
I prefer newer cartoons (not too new but within the last 4-20 years) because I've noticed a lot of older ones are pretty episodic without focused story. I usually prefer a mix.
@@rainestar6781 I guess it depends on how you cut the time, like, post 2006 and pre 2010 there was kind of a void with very few new gems we sort of had that again from 2014 to 2016/7 when the the "good" new shows became more sparse (but was more or less better than the last rough patch) after that it's kinda tough to tell because of how decentralized all of the media is and my brain is too old to keep up with these new-fangled streaming platforms and all of their catalogues but i know 2018 to 2020 had a decent amount of bangers to come out after that nothing popped up in my radar until very recently that we are seeing like fiona and cake, the new superman show, the next Castlevania show, not counting the new harley quinn season because that is technically just a season of a 2019 show, so like if sort of remember no super good or exiting new series coming in the last 3 years, checked out in like 2017 in terms of new releases or are just thinking back of 2010 when we had like 5 or 6 bangers came out all at the same time on a single network it makes sense that they would say "there really hasn't been new bangers in a while" even if very reductionist, like, my comment itself is reductionist, it's not like there wasn't anything to watch in 2007, we had ben 10 reruns and avatar reruns and shit that we could watch (although the ben 10 reruns got kinda fucking old after a while) and they had some anime to watch, also new seasons of good stuff would come out during those rough patches, etc, etc, etc.
It may be boomer but ots true cartoons were better but they are improving again , shows went through a period of color equils good for a few years and didnt care for story then they started going back to the old style of story but with modern color theory
What I like about this reaction is that, unlike the other videos, it's a duo where one person is learning about the lore while the other already familiarized themselves so they can talk about the heavy details when something is brought up.
gonna be honest, kinda hate Feedback since he is such a big retcon and is kinda like a Mary Sue of Omniverse. The rest of the show is fine if not exactly always good, but Feedback and Kai's reintroduction and sudden romance is my most disliked part of that season. Going along with that, I think it was Ultimate Alien that had a horrible retcon with Julie just so they didn't have to deal with her which is my least favorite part of that season as well as the character regression.
I don't mind feedback but I 100% agree with you on kai. Kai in particular just never felt right with Ben and her reintroduction felt so forced with zero chemistry idk

It doesn't ruin anything, and I call it the Mary Sue of Aliens, but it's not like it's that bad, I just think they tried to connect it to too much. But yeah no Kai was weird with how much they tried to push her. Omniverse in general feels weird when it comes to love interests. You'd think it's a harem anime with how many people fall for Ben.
I don't consider feedback a retcon because. It just adds onto the story without changing much of anything since it tells us the stuff ben did before he took off the omnitrix which in Alien Force wasn't even elaborated on much to begin with.

The Forever Knights and Georgios is a retcon as well as many other things, most series have them, it just depends on your tolerance for what is changed and how. My problem with Feedback is that it is given a lot of importance for both Classic Ben and Omni Ben but is never brought up or before nor did it need to be so important to the past when they could have established it at the beginning of Omniverse and have it be stolen mid series or if it had to be in the past don’t center his retirement around it. I think what I’m really saying is that besides the fact that I’m not a fan of it’s design Feedback suffers in my mind from them trying to make it more important artificially. Big Chill and Diamondhead are in my opinion better executed in trying to make them Ben’s signature alien (though I might be imagining them being pushed) since they were built up more gradually rather than being immediately shown as being a thing. On my phone walking so it’s kinda a mess, will fix later.

Honestly this is just a collection of major events in the series, there are a lot of smaller unrelated storylines that are just as fun as this, plus I do recommend watching it from the beginning to end because you'd be surprised at how mature and competent Ben is, he's not all transformations with Ben, even without the alien powers he's still a capable fighter and could hold his own, as to why Alien X isn't present often, its the same reason as to why superman doesn't just throw people into the sun or speed blitz them with a mountain shattering punch, Ben holds back and only uses Alien X as a last ditch move because he didn't want to overdo it and use excessive force even when he has full control over Alien X, and ben has more than just 2 love interests, the classic series introduced Kai, alien force introduces Julie and Omniverse gave Ben a harem of human and alien girls alike, 3 of them being princesses of alien civilizations if I'm not wrong

Something that I personally found interesting watching the series is how Kevin's powers advance. Season one of AF he's just able to armor his body- but later in the series he's able to completely transform his body into the material he absorbs- first noticed when he had a hole punched through his chest in a metallic form and just patched himself up.
This was fun to see a ben 10 fan (Cerby) and a ROOKie (Zero) watching the entire story of Ben 10 by the ink tank, and look forward to watching more of you guys reaction.

I kind of agree with the Kai situation. I do like the IDEA of her being Ben's proper love interest, but the way they went about their """"romance"""" was incredibly toxic and forced, and she only showed up in like 4 episodes of the last aired season where most of the time they bicker and argue more than anything (one of the episodes also giving us a super dumb reason for Ben renaming one of his aliens, the name itself isn't exactly bad even though I still find it not exactly fitting compared to what it used to be, but it was handled extremely poorly like the romance as a whole). It's speculated that their actual chemistry and romance would have been explored, but it was already kind of build on shaky ground and was incredibly forced so I don't know how well it would have worked out. Plus Omniverse's reliance on making Omniverse's Ben 10K the "NO SERIOUSLY THIS IS BEN'S FUTURE!!!" end goal was not great, especially when the series already stated that Ben's future is incredibly malleable. Plus their reliance on trying to make it that the Classic Ben 10K is the "canon" one is kind of dumb and makes the Classic reliance feel even more heavy handed than it already was. Because they used the excuse of "THEY'RE FATED TO BE TOGETHER!" robs both of them their agency as characters and love interests, the only way they could go about it in a meaningful manner was if they went the Justice League Unlimited route of "the idea isn't off the table, but I won't be "fate's" pawn" with John Stewart (Green Lantern) and Shayera Hol (Hawkgirl).
I DO like that we have an in-universe excuse for any retconning in the form of the Celestialsapians just messing with the universe on a whim, which was showcased in a meta joke in Omniverse pointing out the change in art styles between the 3 Prime universe related shows. Granted for the finale, I kind of wish it was Alien X that stopped Maltruant's Annihilargh, but I DO get the thematic use with Feedback.
A quick little funfact: Maltruant is voiced by Mark Hamill himself

36:03 Actually, I think Celestialsapiens only have 2 personalities, Ben is just an additional 3rd for Alien X, and, prior to Omniverse, he only needed a 2/3rd vote to get Alien X to do something. All other Celestialsapiens require a unanimous vote between their 2 voices, and in Omniverse that rule of "unanimous decision" got applied to Alien X as well, if I recall correctly.

I prefer newer cartoons (not too new but within the last 4-20 years) because I've noticed a lot of older ones are pretty episodic without focused story. I usually prefer a mix.
@@rainestar6781 I guess it depends on how you cut the time, like, post 2006 and pre 2010 there was kind of a void with very few new gems we sort of had that again from 2014 to 2016/7 when the the "good" new shows became more sparse (but was more or less better than the last rough patch) after that it's kinda tough to tell because of how decentralized all of the media is and my brain is too old to keep up with these new-fangled streaming platforms and all of their catalogues but i know 2018 to 2020 had a decent amount of bangers to come out after that nothing popped up in my radar until very recently that we are seeing like fiona and cake, the new superman show, the next Castlevania show, not counting the new harley quinn season because that is technically just a season of a 2019 show, so like if sort of remember no super good or exiting new series coming in the last 3 years, checked out in like 2017 in terms of new releases or are just thinking back of 2010 when we had like 5 or 6 bangers came out all at the same time on a single network it makes sense that they would say "there really hasn't been new bangers in a while" even if very reductionist, like, my comment itself is reductionist, it's not like there wasn't anything to watch in 2007, we had ben 10 reruns and avatar reruns and shit that we could watch (although the ben 10 reruns got kinda fucking old after a while) and they had some anime to watch, also new seasons of good stuff would come out during those rough patches, etc, etc, etc.

What I like about this reaction is that, unlike the other videos, it's a duo where one person is learning about the lore while the other already familiarized themselves so they can talk about the heavy details when something is brought up.
To be fair, Omniverse's art style was mildly inspired by anime. Does that count?

gonna be honest, kinda hate Feedback since he is such a big retcon and is kinda like a Mary Sue of Omniverse. The rest of the show is fine if not exactly always good, but Feedback and Kai's reintroduction and sudden romance is my most disliked part of that season. Going along with that, I think it was Ultimate Alien that had a horrible retcon with Julie just so they didn't have to deal with her which is my least favorite part of that season as well as the character regression.
I don't mind feedback but I 100% agree with you on kai. Kai in particular just never felt right with Ben and her reintroduction felt so forced with zero chemistry idk

It doesn't ruin anything, and I call it the Mary Sue of Aliens, but it's not like it's that bad, I just think they tried to connect it to too much. But yeah no Kai was weird with how much they tried to push her. Omniverse in general feels weird when it comes to love interests. You'd think it's a harem anime with how many people fall for Ben.
I don't consider feedback a retcon because. It just adds onto the story without changing much of anything since it tells us the stuff ben did before he took off the omnitrix which in Alien Force wasn't even elaborated on much to begin with.
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 changing or adding to pre-established lore is by definition a retcon. The Forever Knights and Georgios is a retcon as well as many other things, most series have them, it just depends on your tolerance for what is changed and how. My problem with Feedback is that it is given a lot of importance for both Classic Ben and Omni Ben but is never brought up or before nor did it need to be so important to the past when they could have established it at the beginning of Omniverse and have it be stolen mid series or if it had to be in the past don’t center his retirement around it. I think what I’m really saying is that besides the fact that I’m not a fan of it’s design Feedback suffers in my mind from them trying to make it more important artificially. Big Chill and Diamondhead are in my opinion better executed in trying to make them Ben’s signature alien (though I might be imagining them being pushed) since they were built up more gradually rather than being immediately shown as being a thing.
