    I have a question:
    ¿how can i improve with playing double notes? i've been trying to play Caldonia from a previous lesson, and the 3 4 draw just doesnt sound right...also the draw bends 3 4 sounds awful for me (eventhough i can bend them separately with no problems)
    Cheers!

  • @chrisrockyngham6521
    @chrisrockyngham6521 4 роки тому +1

    wonderful , this is very helpful !!!
    one question please: when drawing the third of the chord down to the blue note,
    down to the flat three (for the blues scale), i can do it from the third to the minor third.
    but please, how do you start on the already bent note?
    to play b3 to the 3 in the chord and then the five. - like st louis blues melody.
    is there a trick ... or just lotsa lotsa practising ??
    thanx a bunch chris

    • @willharmonicawilde
      @willharmonicawilde  4 роки тому +1

      It's just a case of building up muscle memory. Practice bending draw 3 down and holding it first, then try to remember the bend mouth shape (whilst picturing the note you are aiming for in your head) and try to go straight to the bend.

    get down low and stay there for a year... or two. blow when you have air...draw when you don't. this allows you to stop thinking and let the 'muse' take over and let it out. don't resist. don't try thinking at all... just let it go.

    Well I´ve learned now How to bend Tones, came to me just like that :-)
    But what is that about this Overblowing the High Notes? How does that work?
    Is it a learneble Skill or is it like: either you can or canot do?

    • @willharmonicawilde
      @willharmonicawilde  7 років тому +1

      You can Draw Bend holes 1 to 6, and Blow Bend holes 7 to 10. With any kind of "bend" you lower the pitch of the note. Overblowing or overdrawing is a more advanced technique whereby you actually RAISE the pitch of the note- it is possible to overblow on holes 1 to 6 and overdraw on holes 7 to 10.
