Pakistan did not learn anything from Kargil. It has continued the deceit through Parliament attack,26/11,Pathankot, Uri. India gave more than a bloody nose to Pakistan in Kargil , once again reaffirming her conventional superiority against Pakistan.

Pakistani fools rule the roost in Pakistan.
Dear Ishtiaq sir, according to my knowledge, there was an understanding signed between both Pakistani and Indian army that at winters, both Pakistan and Indian troops will vacate their bunker positions and come down and then again after winter, they'll go up hill and maintain their positions. Sir India came down from its position according to that understanding between both the armies. Sir if you could please check this fact, because what you are thinking that the war was due to stupidity of Indian army to leave their positions, is actually not true. No army is that much stupid or irresponsible to leave their bunkers, that too a border as sensitive as LOC. Sir, you please check that there was an understanding signed by both the armies that both of them will vacate the bunkers in winter and then again resume after the winters have passed. What happened in that winter is that, according to the understanding, the Indian army vacated their bunkers but the Pakistani army secretly advanced and captured the Indian side bunkers rather than coming down from their positions. In May, when out patrolling officers thought something fishy was going on as some locals who use "doorbeens"( to see far objects) saw activity in the bunkers, they informed the officers and the when those officers went up for checking, many officers went missing. It was at that time, when India became sure that someone had captured our bunkers. Later we got to know that the Pakistani troops kidnapped many patrolling officers, who were brutally tortured in their captivity (their eyeballs and nails were pulled apart, it is all available in details). The brutal incident of Saurabh Kalia, who was stripped naked, tortured, his eyeballs and nails were pulled apart, and he died in pakistani captivity, and all this was described by a pakistani army only..He narrated this incident in a Pakistani conference after many years of kargil, and I must say, it was a shameful boasting narration generally not expected from such a senior officer! And a total of 527 Indian army jawans received veergati (shahidi) sir. This figure is also backed by the Kargil war memorial in Drass where names of all our 527 brave jawans are inscripted (you can check in case you want to).
He lies and hides many facts knowingly.
In the end, a Pakistani will always remain as Pakistani. Don't expect anything neutral and logical from Pakistanis - be it highly qualified professors or rational human. They just obsessed about India and Kashmir. The moment, they heard Kashmir, their brain stop functioning rationally and the consequence is spreading lies and lies...

You said that the Indian army vacated its posts due to the harsh winter conditions and you stated so Pakistan occupied those posts and there was nothing wrong there. When a country does not accept it's dead soldiers to give them a respectful burial, it indicates the moral character of the country! The Indians gave a proper burial which shows the moral character of India, no matter what rhetoric the Pakistani's have been using and propagating since 1947 about India.
Second, Dr. Cheema, Pakistani's are in this self-defeating and self-deceiving argument that Pakistan too has suffered from terrorism, but that is because the beast of terrorism you've created is now attacking you is not an excuse to get a pass on the State-sponsored terrorism Pakistan has been carrying out for decades in Jammu & Kashmir in India. And, the world is smart enough not to buy this nonsense argument that is repeated by every Pakistani ad nauseam at every forum or occasion. The world keeps telling back Pakistan that you reap what you sow, and deservedly so.

Ishtiaq Sahib, Indians are not naive or such fools to abandon their posts in winter in Kargil, it was an agreement reached between the army commands of both sides to leave the posts in winter and reoccupy the same when weather improved. It was breach of trust from Pakistani Army. 👍

Kargil war was a blessing in disguise for India. Before this war Kargil and Leh, Ladakh was a neglected sector for Indian armed forces. After this war the attitude has completely changed. Now Ladakh region is getting importance. Perhaps this is why Chinese are very unhappy. They didn't expect a clash in Galwan.
