"I'm not an alcoholic, but I do need it when telling this" I love him
I love this man's strong personality and spirit. He's pretty good about not letting the interviewer interrupt and take him off track
Br loves lisyening to jimself sing.
Yet another antisemitic twat!
Only a twisted individual could make such a comment!
God help You 🙌
Could it be that he's a descendant of Ezra in the Hebrew scriptures, a Jewish or Hebrew writer of the Hebrew Scriptures? 😊
I agree hes a doll I could listen to him all day iv just started watching this videos the last few years I'm in awh of these strong amazing people

Esra Jurmann, died 27 March 2014 in Farnham, Surrey, England. RIP. After his death his son Daniel Jurmann and Esra's longtime friend the Swedish composer Otto Freudenthal were invited to Esra's home town of Pirna for a ceremony of commemoration and the laying of a plaque outside his father's shop.
There they met the mayor and other dignitaries. The trip was thanks in no small part to Herr Hugo Jensch (known within the family as Jensch the Mensch) who works with the East German authorities to combat the rise of the far right.
Herr Jensch is the author of Juden In Pirna
Thank you for let us know. Amazing testimony !
@@tatonemio6388 Thank you, he was an amazing man
I bet he was an amazing father and grandfather. So sharp-minded and unapologetic, too. Happy to learn he lived a long life. Bless him and your family.
Here lived a great man. May he rest in peace 🙏🏼🕊️
Thank you for the update. He’s been passed for 9 yrs now 😢. I could hear him speak for hrs. He had so much spark and fire.
The interviewer did an admirable job.
She was extremely attentive and asked pointed questions.
And his singing really adds something special.
So articulate. Amazing testimony. I’m amazed he didn’t break down earlier and more often. I loved his singing. Strong, strong human being.
Wow! What a fabulous Jewish Man! Great testimonial. Beautiful voice. Interesting captivating person. I could listen to him all day!
I like him so much. His sardonic intelligence, his bare honesty, his conversation. I have watched many testimonials, he is by far the most engaging.
Thank you
Esra's in the top of the Best of the Best testimonials. Love his singing and incredible personality. What a great memory he has. Big on details. Plus, the fact he's having a glass of wine while he's telling what happened just makes him all that much more human. *_Who wouldn't need a drink after the bloody Holocaust!_*
I'm glad he survived.
It's obvious The Lord blessed him with high intelligence...and that he had amazing parents. Bless him for giving such a thoroughly vivid testimony!
This guy is so fluent in the way he speaks. Listening to him is like reading a book. Very intelligent man. Respect to him for sharing he’s painful but very important story. God bless ❤
Excellent interviewer finaly and what a great guy. Great storyteller.
Ha I had to laugh when you said “excellent interviewer FINALLY! Ha! Those of us who listen to these survivors stories know exactly what you’re talking about! I’ve been so frustrated with interviewers that sometimes I’d like to Just smack um! Ha! Not really, but everybody who reads knows exactly what I mean. Interviewers have often interrupted, been insensitive, and are addicted to their own voices! I feel like this because I feel sorry for the survivor who is desperately trying to tell the story while the interviewer is desperately trying to show off their interviewing skills, of which they have none! So my feelings center around feeling sorry for the survivor that has to endure these interviewers who are disruptive, insensitive and Definitely unskilled!
Yes, an excellent interviewer! She allowed him to tell his story.
I've watched dozens of interviews. Every one is precious. But I love him as his is probably the most articulate interview. This man is highly intelligent with an amazing gift with words. The pictures he paints are so vivid.
Amazing interview!! Esra tells his story with so much detail & charm. He gave me an understanding of the holocaust I never had before. The interviewer did a very good job. She asked all the right questions & allowed Esra to answer in full. Best testimony I have heard yet!
Thank you for your testimony. You represent the jewish intellect, heart and spirit and that the nazi thugs could not take away from you
This gentleman is brilliant thank you sir for your testimony xx
« Yes Yes My eyes have seen this » A vivid memory of the hardships, brutality but also of the inquisitiveness of this great man at a young age. Such a detailed account, such charming and heartfelt singing. Thank you for collecting Mr. Jurman’s words. He is what we call in French « Un bon vivant »! Even if he has passed, I can enjoy his spirit. God bless his brain, his soul, his family, his People. Thank you❤
A most fascinating testimony, thank you, Sir!
I love this man. He has so much spark and bang that I’m afraid of the combustion. I hate what he went through. Here’s to you sir 🥂 it’s ok, your wife will drive. I could hear him for hours and hours
Wonderful interview!
Thank you so very much!
I like his forwardness when it comes to the interviewe
Thank you for your testimony sir🙏
Esra Jurnbann , maybe you not a live anymore but i am impress from you memory. People like you make such a clear wie from this time around you. Thank you dear !!! AM ISRAEL CHAI !!!!!
What an incredibly precise memory for dates this man has.
What a first class intellect! His memory for detail and specifics is astounding. Excellent interview.
Absolutely stunning story well said❤
A great testimony. . I live in Israel on Kibbuts Geva. I can see the moshav Kfar Yechezkel from my house. . The village that Ezra Jurman.’mentioned.
Esra Yurmann has one of the most amazing memories!
Please circulate this around on u tube. It is so important to stop CTR training in schools!!!🥰
Indeed, its dividing people, Brainwashing children into hate, victimhood, guilt and sexuali perversion should be a crime.
I agree. However, they don't cover anything Jewish in CRT.or DIE. It's selective racism and sexism.
This man is so brilliant!!! I am in awe of him.
What a memory for details. His testimony was riveting. I’ve watched many of these and they all have such different views. But there’s a similarity of the actions of the evil Nazis. 😢
He is so real, with smoking and drinking to cope with telling his narrative.
It is a great testimony!
I just want to sit and have a drink with this guy
and a smoke?
I know. He is super cool and intelligent.
I am sorry to say he died on 27 March 2014
May God rest his soul 🙌
Shmelta shmelta May God bless you shmelta….🙏
I love this guy 🙂
He did my head in!
❤
We were sent there to work, not just to enjoy the gastronomic amenities.
😢
verklempt in the midst of the song for revenge.
such an interesting man
What did he say at 12:50? ……….. as we say in England? A gentile fitting?
Gentleman's outfitters, I think
Wouldn't attending the carnival go against his religion, especially a Lenten celebration? Maybe that's the issue his dad had with his participation.
Dad was Jewish but not observant. As a kid he liked frankfurters (pork).
He was a very keen cook and made his own sausages. His currywurst were delicious!
gastronomic amenities 😆
This gentleman speaks a little too fast and his volume goes down. And what is wrong with the lighting. Because of these issues, I am going to skip the rest of this interview and go onto another. RIP Mr. Jurmann.
hard to watch because the lights went out- very unprofessional crew that filmed this
just listen
Listen. You can also brighten your screen.
He’s reliving the worst time of his life. Making him redo this when the lights came back on would have been cruel.
It’s the end of the tape I think. Just wait it comes back
Excellently intelligent and well told. I felt like I was in the room, having a nice chat. Lovely man.
SO MANY INTERRUPTIONS. SO many questions. Awful interviewer.
No, no, no don't repeat the song! Enough singing already. Wby does he need to answer so many questions in German just to repeat the answer in English? He really is reveling in his time in front of the camera.
I agree. I see far too much showmanship than I has little value to his story.
He doesn't answer in German. He answers in English. The German he speaks are the names of streets, towns, buildings, signs, etc. His memories are in German. If he didn't translate, only people who know German would understand.
He's telling his history, his way. He is intelligent and detailed. How dare you criticize the storytelling of a holocaust survivor???
@@ruthiebottiger8475 The exact opposite.
He's wonderful. Don't judge
The songs were very much appreciated. The German as well.Just because it's German doesn't mean we shouldn't hear it for ourselves. That doesn't mean he agreed with them.I found this interview particularly interesting. I needed to hear the language because I've watched many of these videos and I've never heard anyone use the language and songs of both sides.I was very interested to see what it sounded like as well as the songs, German or not. You are so wrong about that,it is a wonderful video.Thank you sir for bringing it a bit closer for us to see by what we hear as well.
He is so arrogant. He can carry a tune but thinks he is such a great singer.
I really enjoyed his wonderful singing 😊
