Disney's Festival Of The Holidays At EPCOT! | Trying & Reviewing 8 Holiday Menu Items!

In today's vlog we head to Disney's EPCOT for the International Festival of the Holidays to try some of the sweet & savory food options and to see some general updates from around the park. We start by looking at how the entrance has changed since our last visit. Next we head into World Showcase to try some festival foods and to watch some of the holiday entertainment. We were able to try the Lomi Lomi Salmon, Kalua Pork, blackened bass, red velvet bundt cake, strawberry tart, sushi Christmas tree and ended with the slow roasted turkey and the crinkle cookie from the American Holiday Table. All the food and cookies we tried today were good and I would order most of them them again. We also got a chance earlier in the day to see Joyful!, who I love, they're a must see for sure if you plan to go to the festival! We even got to see the Mickey and Friends Holiday cavalcade! Jackson loved seeing Mickey and Minnie! All in all it was a super festive day at EPCOT, this is my favorite festival that is offered at the park! The food and the the entertainment are great, I just wish it was a little bit longer so I would be able to attend more times this season! The Olaf scavenger hunt looks like it’s based off of Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, the Christmas short that premiered before Coco.
I came here to say this. Its on Disney+ and super cute for any Frozen fans out there. Also, the new one called "Once Upon a Snowman" is cute too. Its the beginning of Frozen, but from Olaf's perspective.

I cried the first time my daughter saw the princesses in a parade at MK. She was 2-1/2 and I just bawled like a baby seeing the look on her face. She’s 12 now and I still get a little misty eyed. Since coming home from our latest trip there (a month ago) when I see the cavalcades in your videos I get very choked up because I just wish I could be back at Disney!

I just want Tim’s metabolism for Christmas.
I always look through the menus ahead of time so I can make a game plan of what I want to try. Don’t want to make the mistake of getting full and then coming across a dish I would’ve loved.
My favorite part about my daughter at this age is the same thing i enjoy watching Jackson - watching them experience the world and literally learning what and how to communicate and navigate through their reality - it's awesome

I don't know if it's an optical illusion caused by the landscape behind the trees but I've got agree with Tim the one in Magic Kingdom also look crooked the other time he mentioned that.
Also the scavenger hunt is in regards to the movie Olafs frozen adventure which discusses different traditions of Christmas in different parts of the world. Super adorable they also made a board book of the story for kiddos. I bought one at Pottery Barn.
The most effective program for the homeless I have seen is what they're doing in Oregon (Opportunity Village Eugene) where they built a community of tiny houses for the homeless. The thing that makes them homeless is they are "less a home", so they are addressing that problem first. They have laundry facilities, internet access, and other amenities. They have served over 100 individuals and couples since 2013.

I highly recommend trying the Whole foods strawberry shortcake it is DELICIOUS 😋 trust me it's also my favorite cake. Try it!

My daughter is autistic and is non verbal. Every time is sees Jackson she will say baby Jackson and in this video she actually pointed out Pluto, Goofy, Mickey and Minnie saying their names. I was shocked. She enjoys watching your videos
The goat thing in Olaf's scavenger hunt represents the straw goat tradition in Scandinavian countries. Google says it's a Swedish thing but they also do it in Finland. At Christmas you've got to hide a straw goat in your friend's house. The weirder the hiding place the better. And it's quite big (about the size of a cat) so it's pretty hard to hide! My sister in law is Finnish so I often find a goat in a random place. I usually do a double take and wonder how she fit it there.

Tim. The tree at the American pavilion is decorated with Williamsburg items. Pineapple is welcoming. Lanterns are like Christmas lights. Everything in Williamsburg is decorated and light are lit during their Grand Illumination. Beautiful. Love your blogs.
I am honestly just curious but how come Tim and Jenn won't go on the indoor ride. I understand the pandemic is going on but if you can take off your mask to eat food indoors and even think about going to the parks in general right now, what is the difference from going on the indoor rides? If you go on an outdoor ride you still have to wait in line and you are still going in a ride vehicle. I am just curious as to what the difference is?
It's what they are comfortable with. They don't want to put themselves more at risk than they already are. It's safer to be outdoors then indoors, which is why in a lot of places outdoor seating at restaurants is okay but not indoors. They never eat when they are indoors. They always go outside.

So.... my family and I had the pleasure of being in Disney World on a few separate occasions, and, best of all, during the holiday season, about 6 years ago.....and it was a magical memory we will never forget. We have been wanting to return ever since. Being that we are far away in NJ, and also not financially able to afford to go there any time soon, I feel so grateful to be able to relive some of these memories through your videos. You guys do such a good job of showing the highlights and explaining the sights, sounds, and tastes, that I almost feel like I’m there! My hubby and I were there the day y’all were there! I’m so sad we didn’t get to see you guys and say hi. We were there all week celebrating my birthday and our 21 year anniversary! We went to Disney for our honeymoon and have fine back every year to every other year.

We were there on Friday as well (I think we were taking a break at the resort while you were there), but you guys chose almost all of the exact same items to try that we did! We loved just about everything we ate!!
Your trips to the parks, Disney Springs and other surrounding attractions sure make me want to move to that area. There is always something to do, just to get out and stroll around and check out the always changing sites.

That was FUN! and of course Jackson was the star!! lol. I hope you see this post. I just wanted to share something I did with my granddaughter once she was old enough to understand. Because you focus on different charities I thought this fit in. We, my granddaughter and I would go shopping in the toy dept. and I would ask her to pick out something she thought a boy and girl her age would like. She picked out a Barbie doll that year, I knew she had asked for, and a fire truck for a boy. She was 6.... so you know it's hard at that age to see something being bought that she really wanted for herself. Then we brought it to a donation center. She proudly walked up and put them in the bin. People applauded and she got a little embarrassed, but I know she felt good about helping. We have been doing this since she was 3. She's 15 now and has the biggest heart. She is humble, thankful for what she has and never asks for anything, but is grateful for what she gets. I know this is long, but hope you guys read it. 🧡

The Goat origins from Germany but popular in Scandinavia and Northern European countries. It symbolizes the Yule Goat which was used in Pegan traditions.
We were there at the same time as you! I also had the bass and it was my favorite dish of the day. We completed the Cookie Stroll, and I agree that crinkle cookie was 💣! That was the only one we had to get an extra so our kids didn't have to share 😂
