FNC played this entire series like a scrim, wasting dashes/blinks which allowed them to be picked off and throwing the entire game, missing skillshots on very easy targets, endless 1 for 1's in the mid game when all that does is give the enemy team more time to stall, some of the worst barron setups ever seen where somehow the jungler is the only one away from the objective.
These are things which should not be expected from what should be our 2nd best team going into worlds, and the fact that G2 is falling behind so consistently, not just in this series but every other one is beyond criminal. There needs to be a serious reality check next year, I think it's fair to say this year is already doomed.

Noone is talking about the ornn gold swings. G2 consistently got their item spikes with 2 ornn upgrades (2k gold) on their carries in a short amount of time, and only then they went fishing for a fight. Fanatic did not respect these timers and ended up losing them the games. Also they were scared to play good macro at the end.
People call this the worst final ever, i have been watching the LEC or EU LCS ever since it became a thing. As a G2 and Caedrel fan i can tell you with confidence that this was the most entertaining final we have ever had and its not even close.
G2 bot lane hard inting level 1 and mikyx playing as a gromp for half the series, and they still somehow were the better bot duo in this series is baffling
Jesus christ that was embarassing. G2 playing at their worst level in years and they still cruise to another lec title because there is no competition in Europe. I continue to say that Fnatic is an anti-synergy team, these players have such different calls and playstyles and there is so little structure to the way they play that they end up being less than the sum of their parts. They have no idea how to close out a game, and I can’t even blame Noah for this series, poor guy. His entire team is running it down 24/7 overextending where he can’t help and if he fucks up once the game is over.
Completely blame Noah. Seemed to swap teams whenever the game reached the 20 minute mark. Some of those ezreal Es were so fucking ridiculously bad he should get investigated for match fixing.

Bro you can blame Noah in this series he is one of the primary reasons they lost this is some of the worst Ezrael gameplay from a major region I have seen. Literally give the same early game lead to Guma Peyz Viper Ruler they demolish their opponents single handedly in team fights. The one I actually think who played well an I won't blame for the loss if I were a FNC fan is Razork he has done everything possible to get his lanes ahead got every neutral objectives early then in mid game his team and fed laners fucked him up.
yeah honestly, whenever i see fnatic lose, a good majority of the time it has to do with noah. Like their topside is pretty solid, jun is overall pretty good but noah rarely has highlight moments (he did get quite a few this series though), but he also throws so many games away.

sry guys i havent been following esports recently why is the grand finals for summer in july, what are they doing the 2 and half months before worlds?
There's season finals now, basically the winners of winter/spring/summer and 3 more teams with the most championship points throughout the whole year attend (since g2 won all the splits it's them and the top 5 team based on points). It's all bo5 with losers bracket, but the worst 2 teams coming in will start in the losers bracket. The teams attending are g2,fnc,mdk,bds and the ones directly in the losers bracket are giantx and sk. Since g2 won all three splits(and will 100% stomp mdk since they picked them for the first round), the winner of the other upper bracket series (fnc vs bds) will directly qualify for worlds after just one series. Hope this helped

In game 3, Noah geeting caught was not a throw he was just caught. Throw starts after that, when razork tried to stop 5 man of G2 solo and after that oscarin trying to hold a tier 1 tower when G2 got baron and the throw continues.
Poppy flex is G2's strongest tool in drafts! Poppy can be countered/outperformed in top and Jungle but as a support you get a lot of bang for your draft spot
