If I had a nickel every time BDS got reverse swept in the match to qualify for an international tournament I'd have 3 nickels. This isn't much but it's weird that it happened thrice.

Iirc EU got 4th seed instead of VCS last worlds. LCK and LPL maintained 4 seeds by being in MSI final. But don't quote me on that.

@@Palto_ it was because japan had their own seed, but they're part of pcs this year. so last year they needed an extra team to get an 8-team playin, this year we just have a 6-team playin.

As much as you can blame BDS for getting reverse swept again, G2 also just played way better after Game 1 and 2. You could tell G2 just tried way harder than BDS cuz getting 3-0ed would also be an embarassment for them even if theyre already locked worlds.

Hits everything even predicts the flash with his last Q hit and solo wins the fight. ( I didnt watch further yet but even if they loose this is is some great play that can go nearly unnoticed) In that age going full ham under that pressure and taking the responsibility is badass, get through with is makes you a contender for GOAT if you re doing this over several years constantly.

What changes to the roster can BDS make to make a better team? Is this not the best team they can make from the available players? Everyone over performed the whole year but is this still not good enough?
As much as my kneejerk reaction is to say Labrov for literally anyone else, I think they're biggest problem as a team is how fragile their mental is. Not sure if there's a potential staff change that could help them there, but they've got to try something. Way too much tilt going into that Game 5 leading to unnecessary desperate plays that threw out any chance they had.
Caps on Tristana is the most aggressive player in the world, and im all for it!

No they didn't lose to ban phase. It was in-game plays.
Labrov played very well in game 2, but rest of the series he was TERRIBLE, especially that game 4 where he played Alistar.
That game 4 was so winnable if Alistar didn't just decide to go to the topside, 40 seconds before the drake for 0 reason, get caught and dies even using ult and flash. The rest of the BDS had to push a little forward around drake, because they couldn't give up a Hextech soul. That resulted in Rumble and Corki both dying. Even after that, there was a fight at mid, and he completely abandons both his carries, instead he's protecting a full HP Maokai.
Labrov needs to stop playing that champion. Even a former T1 Wolf, who's a HUGE BDS fan, said that Labrov is absolutely disgusting on Alistar, in a negative way.

This year at least, I think you can say the top 2-3 of the LCS are better than the LEC. Though none of that matters with how far behind the west is vs the east.

"Supposed to" being the important bit, as currently they're sitting in the lower bracket after losing their Bo5 against Mad. Whether or not they'll claw their way back into 1st or 2nd remains to be seen.

I have a question about the picks in the 2nd game from BDS where they picked Rumble and Sejuani. How come you didn't like those picks? In my opinion they have good base damage for the early game and a good tier ult that can make a difference in both teamfights and on skirmishes.
I didn't watch your live stream so maybe I missed you explaining what the weaknesses in the top jungle side synergy. This is no hate to your read understanding of the game (Big fan on the content/casting).

He briefly explained that it has to do with early game damage. She has high base damage and going rumble means you have same damage spread which rumble doesn't like. He'd like to be in a team where he's the only AP. Also if there's a sej that's an insta Merc boots buy which is free MR. This is also an assumption on my end but rumble doesn't trigger Sej's E as nicely/ quickly as AD auto champs like renk with w and Camile with q. The summary is that they don't synergize well together other than stacking ults

The bounty is probably cuz the game calculates it based on where the player is compared to the rest of the players not just their lane opponent.
Still doesnt make sense considering like a minute later nuc was even gold with him with no bounty and caps had 200 on his head

Those lane swaps are difficult to understand for me. More than half of turrets are taken at 6 min while they are level 4 or 5, and then there's a top laner who's still level 1?
Is there a guide somewhere that explains the functions and idea behind lane swaps?
