We got bill and Jules, game don’t matter lol!! Glad I won’t have to watch little man sniff any jocks this episode lol… max crosbie episode was so awkward lol!! Jk jack ur good shit, I hope u don’t go back to the shire!! lol jk ur good shit
He tried to interject but realized it was better to let Bill run with the narrative for jokes. In reality you know Bellicheck didn't let those dudes go party the night before. This aint the NBA.
Bill makes a very funny Suzanne Somers reference and it goes right over Julian's head. Listening to Bill is like talking with my childhood friends with 70s and 80s references.
My god, Bill's right. She's wearing Julian's sneakers in this old Thighmaster commercial at the 10 second mark... ua-cam.com/video/4qSYbRSgyPI/v-deo.html
Bill with his guard down and talking about stuff that’s in his element is by far the best version of himself as a guest. I knew this episode would be worth the watch.
Describing Miami fans as the “60 yr old guy wearing white linens like Hannibal Lector at the end of the movie right before he eats that guy” had me crying
I feel like Bill Burr and Bill Belichick would have an hours long conversation mentioning obscure 70’s NFL players. Gotta get those two in a room somehow.
@@gameswithnameswhen you finally get Bill or Tom on please just bring back Bill Burr as a secret special guest host for that show so that he can roast them.
I’ve literally been thinking to myself for the past couple weeks. Why hasn’t Bill Burr been on this pod? Jules made my dreams come true once again. Best part of the pod is when Jules explained that the room is “cedar good for bugs”🤣🤣
The game that Dan Marino single handedly took down that vaunted 1985 Bears defense with a bunch of plumbers and electricians for teammates. Just another great example of how dysfunctional the Dolphins front office has been for decades. When Shula first got there, he was able to overcome it. Over time, the city eventually took over Shula and corrupted him, to the extent that he had one of the most spectacular QBs of all time, and never managed to build a team around him that was capable of winning the Super Bowl, and largely wasn’t even able to get close to playing in that game, because of how poorly the roster was constructed. Marino had one running back in his entire career, to reach 1,000 yards rushing, and that wasn’t until he had Jimmy Johnson as his HC. He had two great receivers early in his career. And outside of that, he didn’t have anything for great skill guys and the defense would’ve been just as effective, if they had put helmets and pads on 11 traffic cones and stuck those on the field, for basically his entire career. It wasn’t until after Marino retired, that they finally decided to build a competent defense, and then they didn’t have any offense. The best chance they had at getting their next great QB, the front office axed the deal, and traded for Caulpepper instead of just signing Brees as a free agent. Could’ve had Mike Tomlin as a HC, but he was “too hip hop”. Through decades of different coaches, ownership, and management, the one thing that seemingly never dies, is the dysfunction of the collective that drives the team. In some kind of way, it always finds a way to rear its ugly head, in the worst ways.
I've listened to bill burr podcasts for some years now and i can tell you that Burr absolutely loves Edernut. I've heard him shout the TV watching him catch a first down on 4th down. Dude is just busting his nuts Lol
I’ve only made it halfway through this one but holy shit haha, not a Boston fan of any kind but love Edelman as an underdog athlete and DUDE and who the fuck doesn’t love Bill Burr 😂😂. This is fucking GOLD
The whole Mahomes helmet off in the endzone, is only scratching the surface. The chief's game winning play, last year in the superbowl, 3 lineman past the line of scrimmage before the ball is thrown. 3! And no penalty flag thrown. It's insane.
Greatest game for me of all time is San Diego Chargers playoff game versus Miami Dolphins in 1982. Won by Chargers 41-38 in OT. Kellen Winslow Sr. was in full body cramp that was in and out of the game. Such a warrior. I was like 7 years old and it was so dramatic for me. That’ll always be my favorite game ever
Huge fan of games with names. Bill burr is legend and so quick and it's awesome watching eddelnuts taking a sec to catch up. Great podcast cause bill is on the money with sports and would make a great Netflix announcer. As long as they don't leash him cause he would crush with his knowledge and how fast his mind works. Would be frig great
Marino did have great receivers when they played the Bears but no running game & no defense. And I believe Marino made the playoffs every year in his career
Dolphins vs. Bears?! What's the game we should have covered with Bill Burr?
How about when Mickey Ward dropped Burr with liver shot. 🤜🏼
Great game to pick the heat that slowed down the Bears defense that humidity and Marino arm was the difference otherwise bears would of finished 17-0
It's a ironic that the Dolphins still hold the undefeated record in the NFL
Lol

Lmao Edelman looked flustered af when he said "You guys were in South Beach the night before"😅😂

@CB-ke5xx 100% hahhaa
Yeah, Jules is no match.
Timestamp?
@@CB-ke5xx😂oooooooooo
*Jules wearing the most normal sneakers ever
Bill Burr: thats gotta be gay
🤣 I just commented that my older cousins are Bill's age and they would call them ladies' sneakers for sure - you're way more on point lol
He's right though. I'd never be caught wearing those, I'd rather wear the grampa NBs than that! Lol!
Jules: My daughter made this
Bill: Is that supposed to make me ease up on you.
I WAS DYING LOL
honestly this is the best episode so far no joke
Bill was ruthless on this one 😂. He’s a fan of Edelman and huge fan of the pats but he didn’t let that keep him from going after everything!
“ we pick presidents like the Browns pick quarterbacks….” I laughed out loud. I’m from Cleveland. It’s where quarterbacks go to die.
🤣
All you need is 1 trust me the commanders were there for a long time to we had so many rotating QBs ridiculous but so glad we finally found one
where is that
Bill was busting Julian's ball the whole episode 😂
Literally in his DNA
You can tell how uncomfortable Jules and the guys felt with Billy busting their balls lol
Ay yo 😭
Bruh bills energy is borderline manic and yet sounds like a beautiful song bird 😂😂
That's what I listen to his Monday Morning / Thursday Afternoon podcast at every opportunity~
Yo Bill was on one this episode 🤣
He was. Good to see him back in his usual groove. He was amongst his own here. Howie Mandel made a mess of Bill's appearance on his show.
@@Cletus_the_Elderyeah but watching Bill get butthurt about it and then still be nice to Billy was also fucking hilarious
He’s always on one 😂
😂😂😂
You have aged out 22:29
Bill makes a very funny Suzanne Somers reference and it goes right over Julian's head. Listening to Bill is like talking with my childhood friends with 70s and 80s references.
Bill Burr torching Edelman is murder.
Easily the best pod cast episode I've ever heard
Bills ADHD made this episode so much better
it's the trauma dude 🤣
Describing Miami fans as the “60 yr old guy wearing white linens like Hannibal Lector at the end of the movie right before he eats that guy” had me crying
I haven’t laugh this hard on a long time😂😂
This is just a new Bill Burr special 😂😂😂
Love BILL BURR's mind !! HE took us ALL on an adventure !! TOP 3 interview of Games with Names ! THANK YOU crew for this episode !!
Billy Burr looking healthy as hell!
The avocado!
Ol' Freckles bringing the fire over there - as always. Top episode!
I’ve never clicked on a video faster
So cool for Jules to finally get Billy Corgan’s lil’ bro on the show!
Ugh. Howie Mandel is the worst.
Haha what a weird moment that was.
This joke is already fucking old 😂 on every damn clip of burr right now

“How does it feel to be that old to remember a 1976 game that great?”
Bill: “I watched it on UA-cam”😂💀💀
Hell yes I've been waiting for this ep! You guys are both LA, what took so long? Now we just need Tom and Bill 😂
Needed to be ready for him
