“Claire, it’s French” always gets me 😭😭
There are a few clues to show us how Fleabag feels about the Priest. One of my favorite details is that she pushes down the camera when they are in bed. She shuts us out.

I feel like you keep focusing on Fleabag coming on to the Priest (can’t blame you, knowing her history), but it’s the Priest who usually makes the first move. It was the Priest who gave her his number in ep 1. She is quite passive with the Priest and is even interested in having him as a guide in the confessional scene. He was the transgressor there. He (was already drunk) insisted they drink together, made dirty comments and then kissed her when she was trying to open up. He sought her out at the bus stop in this ep, and showed up at her door. The man was troubled when we met him (the drinking, bad relationship with his family, etc.). He is on the descent to full crisis. She really did very little except talk (and flirt, but she does that with everyone) with him. He is just as f-ed as her. They match in that way.
But this isn’t the Fleabag from season 1 who would be all too happy to destroy a man’s relationship with god for her own gain. She is on her recovery path and he is her relapse. He keeps seeking her out. Don’t blame Fleabag for the situation. They are both equal in it.

Love your reaction but I really have a problem with Fleabag being the only one getting blamed for the ruin of the Priest's life when he is a willing participant. He took the vow of celibacy and should be the one to set a boundary about that and if his boundary isnt respected, he should cut ties. He disrespected his own boundary by going to her place and sleeping with her, he's to blame for his life getting "ruined", unless you meant she'll ruin his life by using him like she used Harry.

Priests have had the occasional stumble on their vows of celibacy as long as there have been priests. The Catholic Church doesn't approve, of course, but it has ways to handle it (if it's a one-time thing that he's not going to continue). As with any sin (and it's understood that we're all sinners in one way or another), he confesses to his own priest-confessor, is given a suitable penance to perform, and is absolved of his sin. It's not a "one strike and you're out" sort of situation.
