Now that the campaign to reconquer the C-segment - one of the main goals in the Renaulution strategic plan - is well under way with the Megane E-Tech electric, Arkana and Austral success stories, it’s time for Renault to make its next move on the D-segment. The first one was a reboot of the family-friendly All-new Espace; the second is a completely new and daring model: The All-new Rafale.
Now that Renault has revamped its arsenal of technology for hybrid powertrains, chassis, and electronic equipment, it could no longer deprive its customers of a vehicle born and bred for driving pleasure - or deprive the brand of a new flagship. The All-new Renault Rafale is both.
Rafale is a French word that evokes wind, and is also an aeronautical reference. Aviation has played an important part in Renault’s history: the Caudron-Renault Rafale, which flew at a record-breaking 445 km/h in 1934, is only one example.
The All-new Renault Rafale is the first production vehicle entirely designed according to the new visual language that Gilles Vidal has brought in as head of Design Renault. It is ushering in a new era in Renault’s design: it is visionary, daring, perfectly in tune with its time and tailor-made for a period when everything is moving ever faster and only avantgarde models will stay attractive throughout their life cycle.
The All-new Renault Rafale also features up-to-the-minute connectivity and a 200 hp E-Tech full hybrid powertrain that is as efficient as it is frugal and uses recycled materials.
It was born to take driving pleasure to ever new heights and will be enhanced with technological breakthroughs that will rank it high up in the high-performance automotive universe with a new E-Tech 4x4 300 hp powertrain.
Renault has crafted its DNA around optimal driving pleasure - but not the self-centred kind: pleasure that the driver enjoys alongside passengers in a “car for life and living.” Driving pleasure is a priority, but never at the expense of passengers, who have plenty of space and amenities to enjoy as well. Atlast, it's Renault's first n only eye catching/trendy commercial design. Though Renault has an entire F1 fleet (team), it's been too long to get here. Could there be more interesting upcoming designs to see.

Ils peuvent pour le moment car c'est la meilleure intégration Android Automotive OS du marché. En revanche c'est vrai qu'on va finir par se lasser et qu'il va falloir qu'il innovent à nouveau au fur et à mesure que les concurrents vont se réveiller.

Именно благодаря им произошел такой взрыв дизайна и технологий, конкурировать-то нужно;) И Renault и Peugeot выкатили потрясающие новинки. Кстати Rafale весьма схож с новым 408. Ладно уже, товарищи французы, покайтесь, да возвращайтесь уже в Россию пока не поздно. А то Китай уже на 80% захватил российский авторынок. Заодно и немцев подвините, хватит уже тормозить и отдавать им пальму первенства. Все-таки кто создал первые автомобили в мире? 😉

После вторжения в Украину российский рынок больше ничего не представляет для Renault или любого другого мирового бренда. Россия будет постоянно зависеть от китайского автопрома. Эта зависимость - источник слабости. Конец конкурентного и открытого рынка.... Я не уверен, что это что-то изменит для французов, но что в этом для русских? Что это для них?

Bonjour tres jolie cette rafale mes bon a les écouté il Faus change de voiture tout les ans tout le monde et pas riche. Moi jai garde ma voiture 19 ans acheté en 2004 c5 1 phase 2 diesel et qui avais 24 000 km et vendu en aout 2023 et qui avais 140 000 km qui avec zéro problème. Une voiture bien entretenue facile 10 ans. Juste a faire marche l'économie a change tout les ans voir tout les 2 ans. Les voiture de maintenant c'est finis 10 ans et c'est fais exprès pour les faire changé.

Veel te duur voor zeg maar de gewone man.
First Megane, then Austral and then Espace which is basically prolonged Austral and is far away from real Espace, then Rafale and finally Scenic
which is also an abused name for the former minivan. They all have the same interior and dashboard in all models, which is quite boring.
And as I've said many times before, the dashboard is like a Google tablet or a gaming console. It's really subjective, but the interior really looks lame to me.

No cheaper in fit and finish than a Mokka or Arona or T Cross and better all rounder than all of those.
