It got very popular in this year, as adidas presented the new kits of the german Football (soccer) national team for the then upcoming european championship. They used Major Tom in their advertising videos.The kits were so popular, that the song had a comeback in popularly this year. It is considered as one of the summer hits 2024 here in germany. It got even that popular, that the stadium-DJ plays exactly that song, every time the german national team scores a goal. I'm quite surprised Vince used exactly that song for gale! (It's by the way another connection of breaking bad to Germany)
The "you got me" was probably the smartest trick that Walt could do at some moment, turn the idea of being a criminal into a actual joke is like paint your bloody shirt with red paint, It is obvious, but turn a proof into a comic misleading

Sometimes I got so frustrated with Hank not being able to connect the dots especially with the W.W thing. Like with everything piece of evidence against Walter that has happened up to this point like his association with Jesse it’s weird the DEA agent just thought of this as a funny coincidence.
Maybe he’s just blinded by his image of Walt as a hapless wimp. 🤷 Although he did just “find out” about the whole gambling, so maybe he should have taken a step back and reevaluate!

Sometimes I got so frustrated with Hank not being able to connect the dots especially with the W.W thing.
Like with everything piece of evidence against Walter that has happened up to this point like his association with Jesse it’s weird the DEA agent just thought of this as a funny coincidence.
Maybe he’s just blinded by his image of Walt as a hapless wimp. 🤷 Although he did just “find out” about the whole gambling, so maybe he should have taken a step back and reevaluate!
