With RGBW 2 you can configure lighting scenes where the same LED strips change color for each scene and if I use different RGBW circuits, can I group them into scenes with different colors for each LED strip...?
@@Shelly_IoT then can you PLEASE teach us how to use the RGBW2 to control CW WW with color temp? ive seen people do it but no tutorial on how to get it done
I bought this and it a black piece of wire that has a heat-shrunk hardware that is very small with a red and black wire at one end and 2 black wires at the other end... how does this connect and does it connect directly to 110v AC, the reason I am asking is because the wiring diagram has AC 110v connecting to the heat-shrunk hardware?
I want to have the switch input act as an input signal instead of a master control. Is it possible to use the physical switch to act in this way? Nevermind, figured it out after rewatching the video (edge setting for button).
dude this is horrible as a youtube channel but good if you were taking a class. Instead of talking schematics, much more sense to ACTUALLY have a PHYSICAL DC supply and wire and DO as you go along so people can understand what you are saying. HOrrendous teaching and tutorial skills. Think about it like this, if a surgeon who is renowned for his skills on a living body, showed you body schematics and explained what vein/artery goes where and the handed you a scalpel to do actual surgery, won't that be astronomically stupid ?
This really depends on your level of electrical knowledge. I thought it was a fantastic video, albeit I have intermediate electrical skill..the diagrams and usage cases were very clearly explained and much much better than the instructions that come with Shelly.
Very helpful. Thanks Rob!
Does exist some possibility of connecting CCT led strip with the control channel (to control the temperature of white)?
good video

I now have a PhD in electrical engineering.
Rob doesn't play around when it is time to teach!

Any option for two white channels (warm/cool)
FiveSpect 5-in-1 LED Strip Lights
I want to use an AC 230v light switch to control the lights .
Where can I get the Adapter from ?
Can you combine shelly rgbw2 with the physical PIR and how to to bind?
… It’s Rob!!
I have a white stripe with touch on/off integrate it, from the led stripe inonly have 2 cables (-) (+) how can i configure this? Thanks
good bro
If I want to have a physical dimmer, can I use a potmeter or does it have to be pwm?
do shelly have any SPI Addressable Controllers
It is necessary to connect all of the 4 LED single color strips or can it be use with two Cob LED 24v using only 2 channels?
You don’t need to use every channel.
If you are replacing an existing light can you switch the mains input to the power supply?
No, the RGBW2 is DC only.
I was under the impression that you could dim the lights via the push switch
You can if using a momentary switch instead of a toggle switch, long press can then dim or brighten.

You should try supporting apple home kit and siri this way will increase your sales
HomeAssistant is far better and open.
becomes a shelly controller for addressable leds ???
Unfortunately not. Rob tells about it at 1:50
I think it could be done if someone wrote firmware for it, almost all of the addressable strips use SPI interface.
