  • Arizona’s two largest cities have allocated hundreds of millions of dollars since 2021 in their failed attempts to solve the homelessness crisis, yet they aren’t being upfront with taxpayers about how much money is being allocated, where it’s coming from, and where exactly its going-so the Goldwater Institute did officials’ job for them with a new investigative report. "If you're going to allocate hundreds of millions of dollars with no impact, the taxpayers deserve to know what's going,” Goldwater Municipal Affairs Liaison Austin VanDerHeyden said in a national TV interview with Salem News Channel host Andrew Wilkow.

Welcome to the mess caused by idiocy and greed. There is absolutely no reason for rent to double like it did. Now we know property corporations colluded to jack up rent. And since we are such a gd greedy country, we arent sure if we are actually going to do anything about it. I mean, what if we get some power one day? We obviously wouldnt want anyone telling us we cant crush poor people in order to afford that second yacht that needs to follow our main yacht around.
