To see elton john in concert is on my bucket list. Unfortunately I didn't get to see him when he was in the USA. A true artist and legend! What a great man!
Elton sang for be best part of 2.5 hours on stage in Brisbane. He gave us all his great songs. So glad we saw his last ever Australian show here in Brisbane. 😊
In May 1979, my friends and I were standing behind a hedge near concert hall in Moscow, where Elton was singing. He played only one concert, and it's clear that we guys didn't have the opportunity to get tickets. We just stood next to each other for whole concert, and sadly watched those who were able to get inside. But we sang Elton’s songs because we knew them, we had all his vinyl. We were 15-18 years old, now we are sixty. Thank you, oh man !!!
Stories like this I love, I have watched those Russia with Elton shows and in my opinion as some of his best ever vocal performances. The way he connected with every single person in the Rossoya Hall (apologies if that's the wrong venue name) was magical to see.
Sorry for what happened - I feel bad you had to wait so long and it wasn't meant to be... sending you good vibes and I hope a winning lottery ticket falls in your lap and you get to travel to see one of the last shows overseas 🙂
@@StuKuhlman thanks mate! Ah it's the way life goes, but i'll have to buy a lotto ticket yes!! I'm very fortunate I saw him when he was last here, and very grateful for that!
I was about 4 rows back and I still can't unsee that moment.. we though he was wearing old leather pants, but quickly realised it was old folds of skin.
Haha a bath robe (worth about $9000 USD) is not about bed time, it's symbolic for him to finally relax and put his feet up from touring the world constantly for over 50 years. He's earned that right.
He's pure talent who has delivered pure entertainment for over half a century. Even within the music industry he's universally loved. What's sad about him? This tour is the most lucrative in history and netted over US$900 million. If he's sad what are the rest of us?

I'm sorry you couldn't get in. I hope you got to one day; but I guess by how you've written it, you didn't. 😢
he sounds great
Seeing him next weekend in Auckland and so excited!!!

Elton .Amazing.
Great music and fantastic singer !
*There's no way... He's The One since long, long time ago and l'll love him and his music til'the end of times 🤗💓🇧🇷🙏*
Last Auckland shows didn't happen because of the dreadful weather. 😥 That was my chance. I'm glad you all got to see him though. 🙂
เสื้อคลุม(ที่ไม่ธรรมดาด้านหน้าปักเพชร และด้านหลักทองคำเพชรและอัญมณีหลากสีสวยงามราคาแพงมหาศาล)
It has to said Yamaha are probably the world leader in Pianos.
Ever heard of Steinway?
Nice of him to get out of bed.
I grew up with Elton John , what is a woman Elton?
Could have changed his dressing gown and combed his wig.? Love his music.
Why is he on stage in his house coat.
At least he didn’t have Molly on stage like the Melbourne concert.😂

Why is he wearing his dressing gown, is it past his bedtime.

Has Elton just got out of bed?
He ain’t him no more.
nice dressing gown ej
Looks like he's wearing a dressing gown!
He is, probably worth about $9000 as it's Gucci.
In reality he has not had anything good since the 70s, and his voice is reached, people tolerate the muddy performance to worship him.
All of his farewell concerts, he has worn different color robes. Underneath he has a gym suit on!

Sad old man. Just retire for goodness sake
Sad life you're living.

Boah. Der ist echt weit drüber.... Bitte nicht....
I hope he shaves and gets out of his bathrobe for the next show.
