The film crew was only allowed to record the first song, so unfortunately there isn't any more material of the concert. What a pity, especially given the musical enthusiasm of Elton and the fantastic band! It's from an old BetaSp-tape which - if I recall this correct - was saved from the remains of a given up TV-production company way back in the 90s.

As far as I know there were organiszational problems at the entrance. So a lot of people were still about to get in the arena while the show already got started. In addition parts of the grandstand had to stay empty due to construction issues.

@@AGbvk Correct, they planned to relocate the concert to an alternate venue but could not get one so proceeded anyway.
