@@pearlr4805i got 99.3%ile in neet2023 and still got a college which is next to a jail in a cut off outside area. And my best friend who was an SC got better college than me by scoring 130 marks! lower than me. I live in a school and he came by uber everyday. Media only shows 1% super rich land owning generals only but reality is different bro. Blame my ancestors all you ( not you personally) want but you can't deny the fact that this thing is draining our country sooo much.
The competition is not going to look which country is giving reservation. Soon one has to get their own skillset and work for themselves

Affirmative action in the U.S. is very small for a good reason to maintain competitiveness and a meritocracy. It's no surprise the U.S. is the most advanced country in the world. I doubt India could become a powerful nation with an entitled class that got their position by their lineage versus merit. Keep Reservations as a dual requirement where one has to be both a certain background (maybe Jati) and economically poor to avoid wealthy folks from benefiting. Also keep them as a small % of the total roles and focus on increasing jobs and wealth across the economy.
They banned affirmative action/ reservation this year. US is not like the sh¡thole India is
the basic assumption in the reservation system is that if you are SC st OBC then you are economically weaker but if general then you are some sort of crorepati. The amount of difference in the selection of generals and reserved categories is unimaginatively huge, there is no question of merits out there.

Go and study about land reform in India, you will understand our problems. Otherwise, you will run here and there in illusion. Do study about Indian society and then u will understand the complex problem of reservation. The world is not like black and white, there are lots of grey areas and by analysing and contemplating you can really understand the root cause of the problem.

I never hated any other community, ate lunch with all my friends together until I tried to apply for college and government jobs. I never even knew their caste, nor did I care but now I know which ones were SC and which were ST, all thanks to this stupid system that's built on taking from one section of society and giving it to another. Ironically, it's the system that is supposed to uplift the marginalized communities also doesn't let them integrate into our society, now most unreserved category people have no respect left for a person that has come to place of power and influence using the reservation system. Good job, Indian constitution.

Total-59.5
EWS is restricted to general category(10%); no other communities can claim any seat. Rest of 40.5% is open for all applicants irrespective of any community.
Population-
obc at 40.94%, the SC population at 19.59%, ST population at 8.63% and the rest at 30.80%(general). According to NSSO survey--2007
You are given 10% quota, now fight among 40% of meritorious applicants from all community but you will not, you will cry and complain that everything is bad in this country due to caste based reservation.
It's very complex subject if you really want to understand, please read about social justice in India and you will know the real reason.

वैश्य के द्वारा क्षत्रिय जाति की स्त्री के गर्भ से उत्पन्न होने वाला पुत्र वन्दी और मागध कहलाता है। वह लोगों की प्रशंसा करके अपनी जीविका चलाता है। इसी प्रकार यदि शूद्र क्षत्रिय जाति की स्त्री के साथ प्रतिलोम समागम करता है तो उससे मछली मारने वाले निषाद जाति की उत्पत्ति होती है और शूद्र यदि वैश्य जाति की स्त्री के साथ ग्राम्यधर्म (मैथून) का आश्रय लेता है तो उससे ‘आयोगव’ जाति का पुत्र उत्पन्न होता है, जो बढ़ई का काम करके अपने कमाये हुए धन से जीवन का निर्वाह करता है। ब्राह्मणों को उससे दान नहीं लेना चाहिये। ये वर्णसंकर भी जब अपनी ही जाति की स्त्री के साथ समागम करते हैं, तब अपने ही समान वर्ण वाले पुत्रों को जन्म देते हैं और जब अपने से हीन जाति की स्त्री से संसर्ग करते हैं, तब नीच संतानों की उत्पति होती है। ये संतानें अपनी माता की जाति की समझी जाती हैं। जैसे चार वर्णों में से अपने और अपने से एक वर्ण नीचे की स्त्रियों से उत्पन्न किये जाने वाले पुत्र प्रधान वर्ण से ब्राह्य-माता की जाति वाले होते हैं, उसी प्रकार ये नौ- अम्बष्ठ, पारशव, उग्र, सूत, वैदेहक, चाण्डाल, मागध, निषाद और आयोगव- अपनी जाति में और अपने-से नीचे वाली जाति में जब संतान उत्पन्न करते हैं, तब वह संतान पिता की ही जाति वाली होती है और जब एक जाति का अन्तर देकर नीचे की जातियों में संतान उत्पन्न करते हैं, तब वे संताने पिता की जाति से हीन माताओं की जाति वाली होती है। इस प्रकार वर्णसंकर मनुष्य भी समान जाति की स्त्रियों में अपने ही समान वर्ण वाले पुत्रों की उत्पति करते हैं और यदि परस्पर विभिन्न जाति की स्त्रियों से उनका संसर्ग होता है तो वे अपनी अपेक्षा भी निन्दनीय संतानों को ही जन्म देते हैं। जैसे शूद्र ब्राह्मणी के गर्भ से चाण्डाल नामक बाह्य (वर्ण-बहिष्कृत) पुत्र उत्पन्न करता है, उसी प्रकार उस ब्राह्य जाति का मनुष्य भी ब्राह्मण आदि चारों वर्णों की एवं बाह्यतर जाति की स्त्रियों के साथ संसर्ग करके अपनी अपेक्षा भी नीच जाति वाला पुत्र पैदा करता है। इस तरह ब्राह्य और बाह्यतर जाति की स्त्रियों से समागम करने पर प्रतिलोम वर्ण संकरों की सृष्टि बढ़ती जाती है। क्रमश: हीन-से-हीन जाति के बालक जन्म लेने लगते हैं। इन संकर जातियों की संख्या सामान्यत: पंद्रह है। अगम्या स्त्री के साथ समागम करने पर वर्णसंकर संतान की उत्पत्ति होती है। मागध जाति की सैरन्ध्री स्त्रियों से यदि बाह्य जातिय पुरुषों का संसर्ग हो तो उससे जो पुत्र उत्पन्न होता है, वह राजा आदि पुरुषों के श्रृंगार करने तथा उनके शरीर में अंगराग लगाने आदि की सेवाओं का जानकार होता है और दास न होकर भी दासवृत्ति से जीवन निर्वाह करने वाला होता है। मागधों के आवान्तर भेद सैरन्ध्र जाति की स्त्री से यदि आयोगव जाति का पुरुष समागम करे तो वह आयोगव जाति का पुत्र उत्पन्न करता है, जो जंगलों में जाल बिछाकर पशुओं को फँसाने का काम करके जीवन निर्वाह करता है। उसी जाति की स्त्री के साथ यदि वैदेह जाति का पुरुष समागम करता है तो वह मदिरा बनाने वाले मैरेयक जाति के पुत्र को जन्म देता है।

अष्टचत्वारिंश (48) अध्याय: अनुशासन पर्व (दानधर्म पर्व) महाभारत: अनुशासन पर्व: अष्टचत्वारिंश अध्याय: श्लोक 36-50 का हिन्दी अनुवाद राजन! जैसा ऋषि-मुनियों ने उपदेश किया है, उसके अनुसार बतायी हुई वर्ण एवं बाह्य जाति की स्त्रियों में बुद्धिमान मनुष्य को अपने हित का भलीभाँती विचार करके ही संतान उत्पन्न करनी चाहिये, क्योंकि नीच योनि में उत्पन्न हुआ पुत्र भवसागर से पार जाने की इच्छा वाले पिता को उसी प्रकार डुबोता है, जैसे गले में बँधा हुआ पत्थर तैरने वाले मनुष्य को पानी के अतलगर्त में निमग्न कर देता है। संसार में कोई मूर्ख हो या विद्वान, काम और क्रोध के वशीभूत हुए मनुष्य को नारियाँ अवश्य ही कुमार्ग पर पहुँचा देती हैं। इस जगत में मनुष्यों को कलंकित कर देना नारियों का स्वभाव है, अत: विवेकी पुरुष युवती व स्त्रियों में अधिक आसक्त नहीं होते हैं। युधिष्ठिर ने पूछा- पितामह! जो चारों वर्णों से बहिष्कृत, वर्णसंकर मनुष्य से उत्पन्न और अनार्य होकर भी ऊपर से देखने में आर्य-सा प्रतीत हो रहा हो, उसे हम लोग कैसे पहचान सकते हैं? भीष्म जी ने कहा- युधिष्ठिर! जो कलुषित योनि में उत्पन्न हुआ है, वह ऐसी नाना प्रकार की चेष्टाओं से युक्त होता है, जो सत्पुरुषों के आचार से विपरीत है; अत: उसके कर्मों से ही उसकी पहचान होती है। इसी प्रकार सज्जनोचित आचरणों से योनि की शुद्धता का ज्ञान प्राप्त करना चाहिये। इस जगत में अनार्यता, अनाचार, क्रूरता और कर्मण्यता आदि दोष मनुष्य को कलुषित योनि से उत्पन्न (वर्णसंकर) सिद्ध करते हैं। वर्णसंकर पुरुष अपने पिता या माता के अथवा दोनों के ही स्वभाव का अनुसरण करता है। वह किसी तरह अपनी प्रकृति को छिपा नहीं सकता। जैसे बाघ अपनी चित्र-विचित्र खाल और रूप के द्वारा माता-पिता के समान ही होता है, उसी प्रकार मनुष्य भी अपनी योनि का अनुसरण करता है। यद्यपि कुल और वीर्य गुप्त रहते हैं अर्थात कौन किस कुल में और किसके वीर्य से उत्पन्न हुआ है, यह बात ऊपर से प्रकट नहीं होती है तो भी जिसका जन्म संकर-योनि से हुआ है, वह मनुष्य थोड़ा-बहुत अपने पिता के स्वभाव का आश्रय लेता ही है। जो कृत्रिम मार्ग का आश्रय लेकर श्रेष्ठ पुरुषों के अनुरूप आचरण करता है, वह सोना है या काँच; शुद्ध वर्ण का है या संकर वर्ण का? इसका निश्चय करते समय उसका स्वभाव ही सब कुछ बता देता है। संसार के प्राणी नाना प्रकार के आचार-व्यवहार में लगे हुए हैं, भाँति-भाँति के कर्मों में तत्पर हैं; अत: आचरण के सिवा ऐसी कोई वस्तु नहीं है, जो जन्म के रहस्य को साफ तौर पर प्रकट कर सके। वर्णसंकर को शास्त्रीय बुद्धि प्राप्त हो जाये तो भी वह उसके शरीर को स्वभाव से नहीं हटा सकती। उत्तम, मध्यम या निकृष्ट जिस प्रकार के स्वभाव से उसके शरीर का निर्माण हुआ है, वैसा ही स्वभाव उसे आनन्ददायक जान पड़ता है। ऊंची जाति का मनुष्य भी यदि उत्तमशील अर्थात आचरण से हीन हो तो उसका सत्कार न करें और शूद्र भी यदि धर्मज्ञ एवं सदाचारी हो तो उसका विशेष आदर करना चाहिये। मनुष्य अपने शुभाशुभ कर्म, शील, आचरण और कुल के द्वारा अपना परिचय देता है। यदि उसका कुल नष्ट हो गया हो तो भी वह अपने कर्मों द्वारा उसे फिर शीघ्र ही प्रकाश में ला देता है। इन सभी ऊपर बतायी हुई नीच योनियों में तथा अन्य नीच जातियों में भी विद्वान पुरुष को संतानोत्पत्ति नहीं करनी चाहिये। उनका सर्वथा परित्याग करना ही उचित है। इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत अनुशासन पर्व के अन्तर्गत दानधर्म पर्व में विवाह धर्म के प्रसंग में वर्णसंकर की उत्पत्ति का वर्णन विषयक अड़तालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ। टीका टिप्पणी और संदर्भ

वर्णसंकर संतानों की उत्पत्ति का विस्तार से वर्णन
युधिष्ठिर ने पूछा- पितामह! धन पाकर या धन के लोभ में आकर अथवा कामना के वशीभूत होकर जब उच्च वर्ण की स्त्री नीच वर्ण के पुरुष के साथ सम्बन्ध स्थापित कर लेती है, तब वर्णसंकर संतान उत्पन्न होती है। वर्णों का निश्चय अथवा ज्ञान न होने से भी वर्णसंकर की उत्पत्ति होती है। इस रीति से जो वर्णों के मिश्रण द्वारा उत्पन्न हुए जो मनुष्य हैं, उनका क्या धर्म है? और कौन-कौन-से कर्म हैं? यह मुझे बताइये।
भीष्म जी ने कहा- बेटा! पूर्वकाल में प्रजापति ने यज्ञ के लिये केवल चार वर्णों और उनके पृथक-पृथक कर्मों की ही रचना की थी। ब्राह्मण की जो चार भार्याएँ बतायी गयी हैं, उनमें से दो स्त्रियाँ- ब्राह्मणी और क्षत्रिया के गर्भ से ब्राह्मण ही उत्पन्न होता है और शेष दो वैश्या और शूद्र स्त्रियों के गर्भ से जो पुत्र उत्पन्न होते हैं, वे ब्राह्मण से हीन क्रमश: माता की जाति के समझे जाते हैं। शूद्रा के गर्भ से उत्पन्न हुआ ब्राह्मण का ही जो पुत्र है, वह शव से अर्थात शूद्र से पर-उत्कृष्ट बताया गया है; इसीलिये ऋषिगण उसे पारशव कहते हैं। उसे अपने कुल की सेवा करनी चाहिये और अपने इस सेवारूप आचार का कभी परित्याग नहीं करना चाहिये। शूद्रापुत्र सभी उपायों का विचार करके अपनी कुल-परम्परा का उद्धार करे। वह अवस्था में ज्येष्ठ होने पर भी ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय और वैश्य की अपेक्षा छोटा ही समझा जाता है, अत: उसे त्रैवर्णिकों की सेवा करते हुए दानपरायण होना चाहिये।
क्षत्रिय की क्षत्रिया, वैश्या और शूद्रा- ये तीन भार्याएँ होती हैं। इनमें से क्षत्रिया और वैश्या के गर्भ से क्षत्रिय के सम्पर्क से जो पुत्र उत्पन्न होता है, वह क्षत्रिय ही होता है। तीसरी शूद्रा के गर्भ से हीन वर्ण वाले शूद्र ही उत्पन्न होते हैं; जिनकी उग्र संज्ञा है। ऐसा धर्मशास्त्र का कथन है।
वैश्य की दो भार्याएँ होती हैं- वैश्या और शूद्रा। उन दोनों के गर्भ से जो पुत्र उत्पन्न होता है, वह वैश्य ही होता है।
शूद्र की एक ही भार्या होती है शूद्रा, जो शूद्र को ही जन्म देती है। अत: वर्णों में नीचे दर्जे का शूद्र यदि गुरुजनों- ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय और वैश्यों की स्त्रियों के साथ समागम करता है तो वह चारों वर्णों द्वारा निन्दित वर्णबहिष्कृत (चाण्डाल आदि) को जन्म देता है। क्षत्रिय ब्राह्मणी के साथ समागम करने पर उसके गर्भ से ‘सूत’ जाति का पुत्र उत्पन्न करता है, जो वर्ण बहिष्कृत और स्तुति-कर्म करने वाला (एवं रथी का काम करने वाला) होता है। उसी प्रकार वैश्य यदि ब्राह्मणी के साथ समागम करे तो वह संस्कारभ्रष्ट ‘वैदेहक’ जाति वाले पुत्र को उत्पन्न करता है, जिससे अन्त:पुर की रक्षा आदि का काम लिया जाता है और इसीलिये जिसको ‘मौद्गल्य‘ भी कहते हैं। इसी तरह शूद्र ब्राह्मणी के साथ समागम करके अत्यन्त भयंकर चाण्डाल को जन्म देता है, जो गाँव के बाहर बसता है और वध्य पुरुषों को प्राणदण्ड आदि देने का काम करता है। प्रभो! बुद्धिमानों में श्रेष्ठ युधिष्ठिर! ब्राह्मणी के साथ नीच पुरुषों का संसर्ग होने पर ये सभी कुलांगार पुत्र उत्पन्न होते हैं और वर्णसंकर कहलाते हैं।
Lemme give some sense to you. Bihar has 12-13% upper caste hindus. Of which 25% are poor. That means 2.5 - 3% of the population are upper caste poor. Now, discuss on why 3% upper caste poor are given 10% EWS reservation. Discuss of fake OBC Modis 10% EWS largesse. Stop your upper caste discussion on 50% reservation of OBCs SCs and STs, it is very boring you know, the same old discussion that your lot have been doing for generations altogether 😂
There is a fallacy in the argument. The criteria for creamy layer in OBC and EWS is not Poverty line but the annual income of 8L or something and in this more than 90% of General category and OBCs are covered

@@OmKumar-xd3vk In Bihar 63% are OBCs. They have 27% reservation. Upper castes for 12% of population, are given 10% reservation. You don't see any spelling mistake

निषाद के वीर्य और मागध सैरन्ध्री के गर्भ से मद्गुर जाति का पुरुष उत्पन्न होता है, जिसका दूसरा नाम दास भी है। वह नाव से अपनी जीविका चलाता है। चाण्डाल और मागधी सैरन्ध्री के संयोग से श्वपाक नाम से प्रसिद्ध अधम चाण्डाल की उत्पति होती है। वह मुर्दों की रखवाली का काम करता है। इस प्रकार मागध जाति की सैरन्ध्री स्त्री आयोगव आदि चार जातियों से समागम करके माया से जीविका चलाने वाले पूर्वोक्त चार प्रकार के क्रूर पुत्रों को उत्पन्न करती है। इनके सिवा दूसरे भी चार प्रकार के क्रुर पुत्रों को उत्पन्न करती है। इनके सिवा दूसरे भी चार प्रकार के पुत्र मागधी सैरन्ध्री से उत्पन्न होते हैं, जो उसके सजातीय अर्थात मागध सैरन्ध्री से उत्पन्न होते हैं। उनकी मांस, स्वादुकर, क्षौद्र और सौगन्ध- इन चार नामों से प्रसिद्धि होती है।
आयोगव जाति की पापिष्ठा स्त्री वैदेह जाति के पुरुष से समागम करके अत्यन्त क्रूर, मायाजीवी पुत्र उत्पन्न करती है। वही निषाद के संयोग से मद्रनाभ नामक जाति को जन्म देती है, जो गदहे की सवारी करने वाली होती है। वही पापिष्ठा स्त्री जब चाण्डाल से समागम करती है, तब पुल्कस जाति को जन्म देती है। पुल्कस गधे, घोड़े और हाथी के मांस खाते हैं। वे मुर्दों पर चढ़े हुए कफ़न लेकर पहनते और फूटे बर्तन में भोजन करते हैं। इस प्रकार ये तीन नीच जाति के मनुष्य आयोगवी की संताने हैं। निषाद जाति की स्त्री का वैदेहक जाति के पुरुष से संसर्ग हो तो क्षुद्र, अन्ध्र और कारावर नामक जाति वाले पुत्रों की उत्पति होती है। इनमें से क्षुद्र और अन्ध्र तो गाँव से बाहर रहते हैं और जंगली पशुओं की हिंसा करके जीविका चलाते हैं तथा कारावर मृत पशुओं के चमड़े का कारोबार करता है। इसलिये चर्मकार या चमार कहलाता है।
चाण्डाल पुरुष और निषाद जाति की स्त्री के संयोग से पाण्डुसौपाक जाति का जन्म होता है। यह जाति बाँस की डलिया आदि बनाकर जीविका चलाती है। वैदेह जाति की स्त्री के साथ निषाद का सम्पर्क होने पर आहिण्डक का जन्म होता है, किंतु वही स्त्री जब चाण्डाल के साथ सम्पर्क करती है, तब उससे सौपाक की उत्पति होती है। सौपाक की जीविकावृत्ति चाण्डाल के ही तुल्य है। निषाद जाति की स्त्री में चाण्डाल के वीर्य से अन्तेवसायी का जन्म होता है। इस जाति के लोग सदा श्मशान में ही रहते हैं। निषाद आदि बाह्यजाति के लोग भी उसे बहिष्कृत या अछूत समझते हैं। इस प्रकार माता-पिता के व्यतिक्रम (वर्णान्तर के संयोग) से ये वर्णसंकर जातियाँ उत्पन्न होती हैं। इनमें से कुछ की जातियाँ तो प्रकट होती हैं और कुछ की गुप्त। इन्हें इनके कर्मो से ही पहचानना चाहिये।
शास्त्रों में चारों वर्णों के धर्मों का निश्चय किया गया है औरों के नहीं। धर्महीन वर्णसंकर जातियों में से किसी के वर्णसम्बन्धी भेद और उपभेदों की भी यहाँ कोई नियत संख्या नहीं है। जो जाति का विचार न करके स्वेच्छानुसार अन्य वर्ण की स्त्रियों के साथ समागम करते हैं तथा जो यज्ञों के अधिकार और साधु पुरुषों से बहिष्कृत हैं, ऐसे वर्णबाह्य मनुष्यों से ही वर्णसंकर संतानें उत्पन्न होती हैं और मनुष्यों से ही अपनी रुचि के अनुकुल कार्य करके भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार की आजीविका तथा आश्रय को अपनाती हैं। ऐसे लोग सदा लोहे के आभूषण पहनकर चौराहों में, मरघट में, पहाड़ों पर और वृक्षों के नीचे निवास करते हैं। इन्हें चाहिये कि गहने तथा अन्य उपकरणों को बनायें तथा अपने उद्योग-धन्धों से जीविका चलाते हुए प्रकट रूप से निवास करें। पुरुषसिंह! यदि ये गौ और ब्राह्मणों की सहायता करें, क्रूरतापूर्ण कर्म को त्याग दें, सब पर दया करें, सत्य बोलें, दूसरों के अपराध क्षमा करें और अपने शरीर को कष्ट में डालकर भी दूसरों की रक्षा करें तो इन वर्णसंकर मनुष्यों की भी पारमार्थिक उन्नति हो सकती है इसमें संशय नहीं है।
