I love knitting and its a must for me to find time in my day, to just sit and knit for a bit...I pray over the preemie blankies i am knitting and i find it so rewarding to be doing something good for a needy baby even when i am watching you tube videos...I find my mind relaxing with the rhythm of the needles.

It's like you said: creating instead of consuming, and being disconnected from social media for a bit feels nice too. It has even improved my mental health and anxiety! 💕
I usually listen to music or a podcast or watch a UA-cam video too. I need to do the silent one. I’ve been reading a lot more too instead of being on my phone. I also read at night now.
