Keep external bots from triggering your streamer bot actions

- Do you have a lot of random bots in your channel that are helpful, but sometimes step all over your streamer bot actions?
Do you want a way to easily have your streamer bot actions ignore bots?
Use this action at the top of any of your streamer bot actions to prevent bots from executing the rest of the action.
This relies on file named bots.txt in your data folder under your streamer bot installation folder.

IDK if anyone else is having issues adding this action to old actions but I can only get it to work if a make a new action only. But when it works, IT WORKS! TY for making this.

@@Phlare I was trying to use it on a my first word action that is to play a sound and send a message to chat. I imported you action and put it on top as you said just never work for me. So I remade the action as a new action starting with a subaction for Ibreakforbots first then made subactioned my sound and chat message under that. Anytime I add Ibreakforbots to any of my old actions it just ignores Ibreakforbots. So like I said making a new action gave me the best result.

Thanks @Brokencrowe for the idea... I've been using this for ages but never really though of sharing, I'm too close to it maybe to think of it as something flashy and fun, but it sure is useful.

Yeah I tried to make it in a way that was as reusable as possible. Let me know if you run into any cases where you need to pass in a different user or something like that and I can extend it.

I have tried the UI and your recommended C# code which compiled successfully, neither works. What am I missing?
Hard to say, if you jump in discord and share some screenshots of what you’re trying to do I may be able to help diagnose.
What if I wanted to do the opposite?
So an action only happens if somebody IS on a list?
Essentially you would just reverse the ‘return true’ and ‘return false’ statements within the C# subaction

Does it have to be a text-file list, or is there a way to make a list inside Streamer Bot itself?
@@FiyahKitteh it doesn’t HAVE to be a text file list. Probably the most elegant would be to use a group within streamer bot but I haven’t quite sorted out how to iterate a group’s members yet.
I made this as a text file so it was easy for people to edit without digging into the code

where exactly do we save the bots.txt file as i cannot figure out where to save it on my pc?
