South Mountain State Park (NC) Shinny Creek Campsites

April 2, 2018: First off, I apologize for the poor audio quality the first 40 seconds (it was quite windy in the clearing). This is a very quick overview of the 4 campsites at the Shinny Creek campsite in South Mountain State Park in Connelly Springs, NC. Though they generally lack privacy, these sites are some of the closest to the main parking lot with a moderate hike in (probably about 40 minutes with gear). They are ideal campsites if you had a large group and wanted every one near each other. I believe the maximum number of campers (per $13 fee) per campsite is 6 people. Enjoy!
