I remember this playing nonstop on POWER 95 - HOT 97 - & Z100 with Scott Shannon back when Lower East Side Manhattan was Popping with sensations...OMG.....
Hot 97 and 103 always sponsored freestyle concerts. I was blessed to live during this time in NYC and be able to see so many of my favorite artists. This song is definitely one of my favorites.

I always loved her music and freestyle music . When I was in the navy I used to trade freestyle cds with one of my navy buddy's and this song reminds me of my youthful days and my crazy wild party nights in new york city night clubs . Her music is iconic and so is freestyle music .

She's a great performer.a great voice but there was so much competition back then!it's hard to say who was the best in freestyle?out of her Cynthia judy Torres Lisa Lisa lisette Melendez etc.etc.personally imo they are all pretty much equal..toss up between saphire and Cynthia.....

Yeah, IMO it was Safire, Lisette Melendez and Cynthia. Love Judy and Lisa Lisa as well, but as far as freestyle, I'd pick those three.
