I went to college for 2 years with Bill and remember all the free concerts with him and his brother and sister. He probably doesn't remember me, but I still know how good he is and am so thankful I was able to attend our church college for 2 years.

Who knew 70 years ago that Bill would become so well known for his music and co-singers? I got to listen to a lot of the Gaither Trio at Anderson for 2 years. I need to check my yearbook to see who were in the Trio. I know Bill and Danny were. I don't remember their sister, but that could be an old lady's memory slipping. As I told many people, Anderson College was the only place besides home that I was homesick for. It was wonderful there.
While at Anderson, my name was actually Georgia Nation.
Actually about 65 years ago. It was 1956-58.

Conrad Cook did this song the best and in the Spirit. Since Conrad wrote the song to begin with, A bunch of hairdos trying to fancyfy it doesn't work for me.

Yes, they did it best. Gaither tried to fancyfy it and that didn't work. Conrad done it in the spirit. Gaither tried to make a drawing card out of it. Even Jessy Dixon tried. Conrad Cook and the calvary echoes made it right.
