What’s the movie “Mamma Mia! Here we go again” about?
Sophie Sheridan (Amanda Seyfried from Dear John and Solstice) is preparing for the grand reopening of her mother Donna's (Meryl Streep from The Deer Hunter and The Bridges of Madison County) hotel, following Donna's death a year earlier. She is upset because two of her fathers, Harry (Colin Firth from The King's Speech and Pride and Prejudice) and Bill (Stellan Skarsgård from Breaking the Waves), are unable to make it to the reopening and she is having trouble in her relationship with Sky (Dominic Cooper from Need for Speed), who is in New York City, over her memorializing her mother's life. In 1979, a young Donna (Lily James from Cinderella and Yesterday) graduated from Oxford's New College with Rosie (Alexa Davies) and Tanya (Jessica Keenan Wynn), and prepares to travel the world. In Paris, she meets and parties with Harry (Hugh Skinner). They spend the night together, but Donna leaves soon afterwards. She later misses her boat to Kalokairi, but is offered a ride by Bill (Josh Dylan), and along the way, they are able to help a stranded fisherman, Alexio (Gerard Monaco), make it in time to stop the love of his life from marrying another. Unbeknownst to Donna, Harry has followed her to Greece; but he arrives too late, and sadly watches the boat sailing off in the distance.

This has got to be my favourite Brosnan movie because he laughed a whole lot and seemed to be having such a good time. Handsome, awesome old geezer!
The Fourth Protocol is a lot better. Mind you thats not a feelgood movie.

This is easily in my top 5 from the soundtrack. People say Brosnan can’t sing all too well, but I think he gave an incredible performance, in this song especially! I wish they had done the album version, with the extra verse, but it’s still stellar! This movie is a 10/10 any day!

Absolutely brilliant what was done with the stick lady! For those who don't remember, in the original movie when she sees the group of townspeople moving past her while singing and dancing, she throws aside her burden and joins them singing and dancing and remembering the joys of life. Here as she sees the rapidly approaching army of faceless back up dancers with perfect robotic choreography, she is mildly horrified. They have taken the singing. They have taken the dancing. They have taken the joy. Cut it up, cleansed it, and repackaged into a product for the nostalgic masses. 10/10. Cannot wait for Mamma Mia 3!
