Fun fact and helpful tip for other people: if you go into your minecraft controls settings, you can change "Sneak" to Toggle instead of Hold, which (obviously) makes you permanently sneak when your sneak key is _pressed_ instead of held. Then if you hold down your sneak key, you'll rapidly shift between sneaking and not.
this is hilariously useful in packs where you can twerk to make plants grow
(if you don't feel like you're spam-sneaking fast enough you can go into your computer's settings and increase the refresh rate of your keyboard to the maximum)
13:36 You know if you want to disable a key completely, you can bind it to Escape? Binding it to escape disables it completely (Put it at None basically)

Not really. I usually watch everything in 1.5x so I’m used to it. Anything else seems SLOW. I even do 2x for ppl who talk SUPER slow,

Two tips for the builders wands
1. If you have a block you want to place in your off-hand it places that block instead of the block you're looking at. This can be useful for getting the compressed cobble down without having to place some first or if you're, let's say, building an enderman farm and want to place down carpet to prevent tping
2. If you accidentally place something with the wand you can hold shift + left control and right-click on the blocks you just placed to undo the placement (it will show an outline around the blocks when you hold shift + left control.
These are both tips I always forget every time I pull the wand out lmao Thank you!

As a new viewer to your channel, I really appreciate when you are detailed with explaining different things about this mod pack (including keybinds and what not) as I am only somewhat familiar with atm. I love learning new things about this pack!
I know im a month late, but heres a couple speedrunning tips for string and flint:
String - break some grass to get industrial hemp seeds (industrial engineering), twerk to grow insanely fast hemp, and craft into string
Flint - using a shovel on gravel on a cutting board (farmers delight). This gives you the gravel back and a chance to also give flint, so craft a bunch of stone shovels and use an auto clicker for quick infinite flint

My brother if you have people complaining about you using an auto clicker in MINECRAFT, then those people are nothing more than control freaks who desperately need the rest of the world to conform to the way THEY want. So screw those guys. You do you.

The funny thing is that the quest books also literally tells you to whip out a autoclicker lol

i mean idgaf but once the speedrun rules get established autoclickers most likely will get prohibited/limited just because of the nature of third party softwares, just look how long end stronghold calculators were banned from vanilla speedruns
I’ve watched ~half your atm 9 speedrun to hopefully give me ideas for my playthrough so seeing this makes me so happy
The way you’re brain works the speed and efficiency is amazing you are really a extremely intelligent person
I'm sure you've seen this somewhere else or remember it from previous playthroughs, but in your speedrun, you can skip from string mesh straight to flint meshes.
By shovelling gravel on a cutting board you can infinitely produce flint (w/ autoclicker as well), and in my testing it took 8-10 stone shovels to get all the flint needed.
Unfortunately, the shovels dont fully break in this pack, which means they need to be manually tossed and restocked rather than getting automatically pulled into your inventory, but I believe this is still faster than sieving when you account for the time spent procuring pebbles, crafting them into cobble, and hammering them down into gravel.
This is actually something I will definitely try to add to the speedrun!
@@AlfredGGMC There's an even better way actually - you can craft 1 gravel into 1 flint using the Mesh from Pickle Tweaks, which only costs a few sticks and string to make. Should be a lot faster than cutting board and shovel.

When you start here are 2 things i havent seen someone mention
1. Use hemo seeds for string instantly by breaking grass and use the sneak to grow them(use ultamine and right click and just spam shift)
2. If you use the cutting board and hold 2 gravel in the offhand and just macro right click and it inf flint for instant flint mesh also i recommend 3x3 when you start off but thats my preference(mostly because it takes 100 iron/gold/diamond) per 5x5 upgrade

Speed running tip for early flint.
Use Farmer’s delight’s cutting board.
One gravel creates infinite flint, at the cost of pickaxe durability, which can always be repaired

One tip for keeping your hand free while gathering pebbles is to stand on a block.
Instead of one big tree, 6-8 small trees in a line gives much easier access to more strings

Crafting a crook uses 2x planks, but repairing it seems to take about 4. Cheaper to craft it.

BRO, in ur previous ATM9 speedrun, u said something about keybind to make better visibility in dungeons (without having to spam torches) i'd be very glad to know how to do that..
It's by using shaders! There are shader settings that allow you to turn cave brightness all the way up, and then I just use a keybind to toggle shaders on and off.

Buddy the ATM packs are op as all hell anyway, the nerfs are put in place to encourage you to use different stuff instead pf the same thing every pack.
