- Hey guys,
The last few weeks have been really hot and sunny here which means I’ve not filmed much in the studio.
Instead of working lots inside I’ve been breaking up my days by spending time in the garden, down at the beach or taking Birch to the forest for a swim and cool down.
I have been slowly working on painting for a new collection though and that’s what I’m going to show you today. So let’s get on with a relaxing timelapse watercolour painting after a stroll through the beautiful summer forest.

So much fun watching you create. Love the fox. One time back in Illinois I was sitting at my desk that faced the woods. At the edge of the woods I had a bird feeder. And there was a lot of greenery close by. I looked up and noticed a speck of red, so I got my binoculars out and there a fox was sitting concealed expertly and he was watching me. 😂. So cool. You make it look so easy Dee. Also loved that sweet face of Birch looking up at you. Thank you for sharing. Love it. 🦊👍🤗💕💕
Oh wow, that's amazing Diane! I wonder how many time your fox was hiding in your garden! I think they can get quite comfortable when they find a space they're happy in 😊 I often think about how many times animals have been watching us on our dog walks that we never see! Birch is very good at not chasing deer so we've stumbled upon them quite often but we've never seen a fox during a walk, although I know they live here as I've spotted them crossing the road at night. Glad you liked the video this week, it was a much slower week as we've had hot weather (well hot for Scotland! 😂) Nice to get some painting done though!
