It really is weird how current Raw is too long and early Raw was too short. They had a good middle-ground going for a long time but decided they liked ad money more than our time. I have a friend who's become interested in giving wrestling a shot, but hearing that weekly shows can be as short as 2 hours and as long as 3 is a huge hurtle to him (mostly because he does a LOT of stuff and manages his time meticulously). But a wrestling show really does need over an hour to get anything rolling, so I guess it's just not a hobby for everyone, even when they do want to try it.
Yeah it is hard to focus on an hour long episode. On the flip side it’s challenging to not zone out for a three hour long show. If your friend wanted to get back into wrestling I think more would be a decent time to understand the basic story where they are now; as long as they don’t care to go back like at least a month in WWE content to SumerSlam
