Pretty sure there is an option to have someone there to recieve it. Not entirely sure. I never really gave a fuck. I live in an ok neighborhood and havent had issues. I also live in the back house so a lot of packages arent visible from the sidewalk anyways.

10:27 I'm an ex Amazon delivery driver, and there's options saying the package is empty before delivery. So if one were to steal an item there would be no need to deliver it to the house. That guy just wanted to screw the customer over instead of Amazon itself
Sometimes you don’t notice the envelope being open, being that it looks closed and if you are just looking for a barcode to scan, it’s happened to me before but I just told the customer that had to mark it not delivered on their side since I already marked it and couldn’t do anything about it

As a current amazon driver in the UK, if a package is open in the bag before i even touch it, i return it to the depot as i dont know what was in there and dont want to be accused of stealing or opening someones package.

The justice system is whack. A robber can get caught by the police and will be free within 3 months. So the majority of the people has taken matters into their own hands. Some family members and me were in this situation before. Caught a thief that tore down the wing mirrors of 3 cars at a party we were at.

I used to be a delivery driver for AusPost here in Australia and theft was a major problem, from the drivers themselves to people actually following vans around and taking parcels left on the doorsteps once the driver moves on.

I've had two things go missing and if it says "delivered" then AusPost says they just can't do anything about it which really is annoying. Luckily I'm in an apartment and my issue instead is the delivery dude can't be bothered ringing up and leaves a slip. I totally understand when it's busy why you might do that and it is better than having something go missing.
