- The U.S. Air Force" is the official song of the United States Air Force.
Originally, the song was titled "Army Air Corps". Robert MacArthur Crawford wrote the lyrics and music during 1938. During World War II, the service was renamed "Army Air Force", and the song title changed to agree.
In 1947, when the Air Force became a separate service, the song became the "Air Force Song".

Nice recording. I had to memorize the lyrics as part of my first year for AF-ROTC. It was the first thing we had to know, besides the oaths and all.

From 1938 this was originally the Army Air Corps tune before the USAF was formed as a separate service .

Where my father in law did his war service 1941 - 1945
he would have served in the US Army Air Corps then. The USAF was founded in 1947.

The only luftwaffe march i can think of is the Ace's High march, which was from a movie. Is it that song or another one?
It's a great march, to be sure. I think it's just what moves you. I'm partial to Semper Paratus, myself.
