Balance Grades for OT and PT (Static & Dynamic; Good, Fair, Poor) | How to Score Balance with Demo

This video explains the differences between static & dynamic balance. I mention tricks to group these to remember and differentiate them from each other. Last, I go over how to score balance based on a patient's balance performance with my friend, Mister - the OT dummy!
Good+ : Maintains balance against maximal challenges, no external support
Good : Maintains balance against moderate challenges, no external support
Good- : Maintains balance against minimal challenges, no external support
Fair+ : Maintains balance against minimal challenges, with support
Fair : Maintains balance, no challenges, with support
Fair- : Minimal assist to maintain balance
Poor+ : Moderate assist to maintain balance
Poor : Maximal assist to maintain balance
Zero : Unable to maintain balance, requires total assist
