I like how you are creating your personal study Bible with notes to build upon but also use journal. Good balance, I was using a journaling Bible but not enough space for personal and study. This is perfect for me!
I like using a notebook better for the initial note taking, then transferring into my Bible for a couple of reasons! 1. It helps me to remember better what was taught about that passage. 2. I can really focus in on only putting things in my Bible that are key for my understanding of the passage. Other things may be good to note or remember, but may not be totally relevant for that verse in particular. It’s so helpful for me!
I pray that ppl do not begin to make this an idol. I found myself binging these videos n buying everything etc and then realized I was starting to commit idolatry
I’ve noticed people add stickers and draw things that have nothing to do with scripture. Just making it look pretty…. In that case, maybe you could make a case for idolatry …. BUT… This person is digging in deep to scripture and helping herself understand what she is reading. This is not even close to idolatry. God asks us to do this. Not sure if you are saying this because her notes look aesthetically pleasing. God actually created order and beauty and again that isn’t idolatry.
@@beautybylexii1081 well, you are the one commenting on a video where someone is showing their notes and commenting about idolatry. Doesn’t make sense to me.
I totally understand! I can be really hard to get through. Jen Wilkin’s books and methods have been incredibly helpful for me. I would recommend using her workbooks, God of Deliverance and God of Freedom (which is what I have used) and reading her book Women of the Word. They’re fantastic, and totally game changing methods for Bible study. I would encourage you not to give up on Exodus or the Old Testament! They are so so good, and so helpful and important for understanding the Bible as a whole! Prayers for you, friend! ❤️
Good to see actual notes in a Bible journal! Very cool.
Hi Lauren! Please make more of these videos!
Beautiful notes! Very inspiring to dig into GOD’s word! Thank you for your time in sharing!!

@@KayintheBible this had nothing to do with her own notes at all…
@@beautybylexii1081 ohh ok. I love her Bible note taking videos and I was concerned.
@@KayintheBible you were concerned so you thought you would try to judge me n assume something … good bless you 🤍

I started reading the bible, got to Exodus, stopped.
The Old Testament can be hard to read. Maybe read the New Testament.
