Elsiane never ceases to amaze me, not only be remaining unique but also going into new directions. This voice is so touching, there is so little music that manages to move me and make me cry but Elsiane does again and again. What a wonderful composition ! I love the embrace of Spanish language and culture. Beautiful 'la Catarina' makeup in this video, it feels very authentic and deep and accompanies the music, makes me travel in spirit. Always the same depth and precision in the rhythms: Great drums by Mr Sotto as always. I was blessed enough to be at the launch spectacle of the new album and the rendition of Tu Mirada live was pure perfection. I'd love for a recording of a live or unpluggued version with less musical arrangements and the same guitar performance, the same purity in the drums to revisit the feeling I had then.

I’m pretty sure this song it‘s about the strugle of your inner voice/ deeper self trying to comunicate let‘s say important messages or to be a guide in this complicated life but you just ignore them and after you feel a great amount of pain. Also i think it describes how it‘s not easy (not easy at all) to follow your deeper self/ your heart / your inner voice but in the end it will all pay off.
