It's because of you I got all of this cardboard , mirror paper and sheets, glass knobs, xacto knives, circular saw, wood, fabric, silver and gold spray paint, all types of glue and plastic buckets in my kitchen now.

I like how you showed two different materials with the adhesive tiles and contact paper and how they apply. However, I think using only one material would be better to my eye. It looks too busy in such a small room. You do such a clean and perfect application. 🙂
It was to much for too..I would've used the white tile and changed the direction.

I was thinking the same thing! At first I was thinking “🫣” but then I was like “😍”. My simple mind couldn’t even comprehend how nice that could look. I love it. So beautiful.
Looks cute but those tiles are really flimsy and definitely not waterproof. I saw them in dollar tree the other day. I wouldn’t recommend using those in the bathroom without some kind of barrier for mold and moisture
I have these tiles and I haven’t installed them yet BUT I did an experiment to see if they could be painted and the answer is YES! I primed one tile with white chalk paint and then painted over it. You can also decoupage them. So LOTS of possibilities

I never thought of the concept of using contact paper on bathroom walls to transform the aesthetic but it makes perfect sense and I'd imagine way easier than painting or wallpapering. Wow. I REALLY need to keep that idea in mind! Genius.

I would love to see how long this lasts without the tiles I'm sticking. I did this to my kitchen and the towels started unsticking in about 2 weeks. Another thing that should be noted is that when you cut there is an open space in that space will need to be glued or otherwise it will remain open like a pocket. Otherwise excellent job as usual, loves!
I heard that they aren’t good in moist areas. You are right if you cut them it leaves a gap.
That's my concern in a moist area too, I don't want to see it start peeling after a while.
I think it might be ok to use adhesive glue on the inside of the tile so that they lay down. I recently redid my bathroom with glitter foam sheets all over and used adhesive glue. It's still on as strong as ever and it's been over 2 months.
I guess since it's a wc, no shower or bath the level of moisture is low
I did the same thing in my daughters kitchen and some started falling. The ones that I cut also had spaces and I tried to fix it but no luck with that..
I'm not going to lie. When you switch tiles and direction I was kind of panicked, lol. Trust Yoduvh! It looks wonderful! We have a small guest bathroom that has a wall that is getting damaged from the hand towel location. If our DT has these, easy fix!

Very nice! I did my kitchen and bathroom. I did have to poke some small holes in the back of the tiles because when it got steamy from the shower they puffed up. And they are hollow so I used hot glue to close the cut edges against the mirror.
It is tricky using these tiles close to the shower because of the quality. I used mine in a guest bathroom with no heat and no steam because I wasn’t sure how it was gonna hold lol! The idea of using hot glue is genius 😉💕

Wow 🤩 finally a video of the many ways to use those tiles from dollar tree. I loved the bathroom. I used those for my kitchen entrance but I painted them red like bricks since my kitchen is supposed to be New York themed. I also completed a fake fire place too. I’ll try to send pictures of both

I bought those DT tiles and was disappointed the sticky paper is only attached around the edges. So if you are planning to cut several to size, get a secondary adhesive tape to hold it on.
I used hot glue between the front and adhesive backing. My wall has been up for 1 year with no problem:

And before you start anything, make sure that if you are a renter you get Permission from your Landlord BEFORE you do anything. Otherwise they can charge you for "damaging" their property. And get it IN writing!!!! Yoduvh, this is amazing and looks Great. Now that I own my own home, I plan on getting these and doing up my bathrooms.
I used the tiles in my kitchen to do a back splash and contact paper dor my counters and love it. Looks amazing.

The transformation was 1000th % better. Lots of DT you tube channels are sharing their DT finds……it’s hit or miss though……my dollar trees do not have many of the items…..even on the DT website…..some items have min lot quantities……..so that for some ….may work well.Could always split/ share an order with a friend too!

We have to take our main floor to the studs next year so I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on a temp refresh for my powder room. These subway tiles went behind the sink like a backsplash and the rest of the room is their black and white shelf liner, used as wallpaper. It is fantastic. I can't recommend it enough. I wish I had done this in our old apartment bc the marker and crayon just wipes right off, and it feels off clean without taking off the paint! The foil clings took off paint in my kitchen where I used it as a backsplash. I will say that I would not cut these to fit if you can avoid it, bc the tile is hollow and looks terrible on the outside corner. I tucked my cut edge into the corner. Just added them above my shower alcove, where the shower wall ends. They look nice. At a 1$ for peel and stick, no extra adhesive and a decent look I still would only use these in small spaces or runs. Otherwise you can buy tile board/panel for cheaper per sqft coverage, but you are going to be buying extra equipment to cut,mount and finish the job. Great video!
use a bit of hot glue or double sided tape inside the hollow tiles to help the ends stick, works great
