Bro, you will not be disappointed. Some of us literally took around 10 years with extreme self-restraint not to spoil ourselves to turn to manga just to wait with the greatest patience until the animation is aired because deep in our hearts we know it is worth it. And the result? Not only worth it but the ceiling of our expectations has been smashed again and again. Go for it bro!

Def lucky to have not been spoiled, I read the manga as soon as I was dont with final season part 1, cause i 100% would have been spoiled if not. id recommend most who are caught up before part 3 airs, to read the last 9 chapters of the manga, its in full color and is just as amazing as the anime since you have all those visualizations animated already in your mind.
@@UMadUCauseBad ive been folowing the anime since it first started airing and avoided all spoilers for so long and literally like 2 weeks ago i sort of got spoiled about the end but still waiting and exited to watch how it leads up to that moment that ive been spoiled on
not getting spoiled from the whole internet is like stepping into a landmine, every chapter release, mostly the endgame chapters, basically always broke the internet
@@Offisian u def should just read the last 9 chapters of the manga! its WAYYYY too good to get spoiled on, at least youd know and trust me, even tho you know before the anime, its a wonderful thing to watch it get animated, thery are so true to the manga is refreshing.

I’m Japanese. It’s cruel and sad story but also really incredible. I strongly recommend to watching all of episodes. It takes a lot of time though.

The way you silently immerge yourself in the story tells me that you are gonna truly love this show, it might change how you view the world immensely. Attack on Titan even gets much better when you re-watch it (this show is finished in the manga and i've read it), every detail matters. One of if not the best written tv show i've ever seen and not many shows can make me write this.
Once you start AOT, you can't stop. It is one of the higher rated Anime and the story, acting, animation, and musical scores are all very good. Be cautious of spoilers as the surprises are well worth it not to get spoiled on. The plot twists are strong with this one.

I'm 39 years old and I've been watching anime my whole life. I've seen very good anime and some really bad. I have seen animes with very good scripts and with a perfect plot. But attack on titan is on another level. Everything in this anime is absolutely perfect. The music, the characters, the story, the script, the dramatic and action moments ... everything !! I cry in practically every episode when I watch it. I've been following this anime since it came out 9 years ago and I know that never again in my life will I find another anime that makes me feel what attack on titan makes me feel. It is totally impossible. For me it is the best anime in the world without a doubt

this show is legit one of the greatest stories ever written by humanity, its up there with any other great work you could think of. the story is fantastic, the execution is amazing. not to mention that there are some scenes where you can definitely tell they spent more on animation, and those scenes really stand out on their own artistic merit. its really a must watch.

I first watched the series after a particularly busy night shift (as an Emergency Dep't Nurse). I was wide awake afterwards LOL!
And feel free to press pause, voice your thoughts, ask rhetorical questions, maybe come up with theories. (It also helps against strikes for copyright content)

Mistery survival theme but get more complicated and deep every episode. Insanity. Like other comment said, you may think "oh this season was great" but then come other season and is just more insanity. Great plot, and action sequence with epic music. People that like breaking bad like attack on titan.
People who loved the first six seasons of game of thrones will absolutely be obsessed with this story
to add to that, Isayama (the writer of the story) is a huge fan of Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Watchmen, and MUV-LUV Alternative. From what I know of all of those series, you can definitely see the influences, so if you like any of them, you'll like AoT.
To give you an idea of how phenomenal Attack On Titan actually is, on IMDB it holds 2 of the top 3 spots for highest user rated episodes with only a Breaking Bad episode beating it out. It holds an addition 3 slots in the top 15.
This series is recognized as a masterpiece within the genre and the soundtrack is considered the best soundtrack in all of anime. U just have to keep moving forward.

I had almost the exact same reaction. I was sitting on the couch when suddenly my oldest brother asked me if I wanted to see a show (he was already in season 3)... at the end of this episode I looked at him and asked him, "why are you making me watch this?, it was completely heartbreaking"... well, today is my favourite show of all

This pilot is not one of but the best one I have ever seen in any show or media. And believe me every episode you'll think it can't get any better but it does. Every single time.
(Suggestion : Try to keep away from spoilers as much as you can. Most reactors keep a moderator, like a friend who has watched it all so they can filter out/remove all comments which may spoil anything. Also, it's great that you're watching subbed because the voice acting is just God tier, but I suggest switching on to some better subtitles. Official ones from Funimation or Crunchyroll offer the best translation, which actually makes a lot of difference in understanding the way a character or the narrator wants to express something. Again, a friend or someone could help you with that.)

One of the darkest well-written stories I know. It still doesn't get old no matter how many times I've watched this episode. The story will keep evolving and it's all a giant emotional roller-coaster. Like, you need a tough mentality to be able to binge-watch this because it's almost always either mind-bending, or heart-stopping. Especially as the story progresses

It's totally worth it. I started this show back in 2013 when the English dub was coming out. I didn't have the patience so I jumped over to the original Japanese. But wouldn't you know it, there was something like 4 years in between the first and second season. It always gripped me, but I have to be honest, it was hard to follow in Japanese because, admittedly, I have a hard time focusing on my screen and so reading subtitles isn't always ideal. Anyway, I was always interested in the show and restarted from the beginning last year. It's now one of my favorite shows. Amazing music, great characters, and fantastic plot twists.

Attack on Titan only gets better. This show has everything: emotion, well written characters, fights, amazing voice acting, hype, and ESPECIALLY plot twists. Some of the biggest plot twists ive seen in fiction are in later seasons and they left me speechless haha.

This is easily one of the most complex, most brilliant anime ever created. It will drive you insane with questions at times, but not a single episode is wasted. You may need to watch some of it several times to catch everything. AOT is god tier anime.

I don’t know where you’re watching it from, but you chose a little strange subtitles, basically in all subtitles it’s not Recon corps, but Survey Corps or Scout regiment. Some other phrases also had i bit a strange translation.

You should certainly keep watching! AoT might be a little too "Anime" for absolute Newcomers, but it's one of the greatest Anime of all Time, or rather just one of the best Stories in Fiction period. It's btw great that you watch it with the original Japanese Voice Actors, you should keep it that way for pretty much all Anime you're gonna watch in the Future (Erens performance in this very first Episode alone should be convincing enough, the Art of Voice Acting is an entirely different thing in Japan - the Industry is HUGE and the Actors are insanely talented).
For your AoT Journey I have 2 simple but quite important Tips for you: First of all, don't watch the Episode Previews at the End; each Episode ends with the "To be continued". You watch and wait for the "To be continued" and that's where you should turn it off or jump into the next one. These Previews sometimes just spoiler you in the most stupid ways...And Secondly (as well as most importantly), DO NOT let yourself get Spoilered ! AoT is a Show with A LOT of Plot Twists, Foreshadowing ect and YT Commenters (sadly especially Manga Readers like myself...) tend to be real Smartasses and Spoiler this amazing Experience for you, so look at your YT Comments with a grain of Salt :D

Dude, I hope you watch the whole show with us, you have no idea what kind of show you are watching, the depth, the plot, the music, twists, everything is on top, every little detail here makes sense later, (remember the name of the first episode - "To You, 2,000 Years From Now" ) people who watch this show for the 2nd and 3rd time are surprised more and more by the things that are laid down in the first episodes and the quantity of foreshadowing elements there...

this anime's ep 1 was all I thought of for the entire week until ep 2. We who watched the anime since it came out had to wait so long to get to the final season now. Been watching anime for 18 years and AOT is one of the best anime. You won't regret watching.
