Wet and needle felted amethyst geode

Tutorial using the wet felting technique to make a hollow ball, cut open and sew beads on, and add needle felted details; to create a realistic amethyst geode from wool. You will end up with two halves that make beautiful decorations, or gifts for friends and family!
All you need is some felting wool, a tennis ball, some mesh, sparkly beads, needle and thread, and a felting needle.
