After my c-section my body didn’t want to recover…my wound became septic…I was admitted again and I came back home with a Negative Wound Pressure machine hanging from my c-section..it was my worst experience…but I thank God for my beautiful baby girl…if I had a YT channel,it would be a scary story time..but congratulations 🎉🎉
Same here mama😢 horror movie that I haven't fully recovered from shame. I had to get blood transfusion as well. 4 bags of blood 🥴 I'm grateful that my baby boy and I are healthy and alive.

34:45 I had a c section the second time around and it was discovered that if I had a natural I was gonna die because my placenta was clued to the lining of something I don’t remember so God knew what he was doing ❤

I was in a painless labour for about 26 hours, ran low on oxygen due to asthma, my son was in distress, an emergency C-section was immediately carried out. I will never thank God enough for saving us both. We made it out alive🥺

My experience with C Section is totally different than yours. I can honestly not associate pain with my whole birth experience. Suppositories were the best in managing pain.
All I remember is one day ironing topless, months after baby was born, I thought I’m healed completely, and the steam permeated through my incision, never felt anything like that, crazy painful, but good lesson learned.

i've listened to your story and the part of where you are saying God let you experienced natural birth but also stop the pain from " combing it makes sense and i am a believer and that part really opens my eyes only to see how great God is,and how he protects his beloved people.

Let's be grateful for healthy life mommy and baby. I had 3 C-sections the last one being last year I was so scared, but everything went well ❤❤God is good.
I also had prolonged 2nd stage of labour with my First child ended up having c section i prayed so hard that my baby was healthy and nami i overcome all that was happening and i believe God knows what His doing in everything we go through,,, i have had complications with all my 3 babies but God is always God i given birth to healthy babies despite everything... im glad you and baby Kano are well please do take care ❤

Welcome back. Let me sit back and relax. Been waiting for this. Update: I gave birth naturally with my first and it was quick but traumatic. Thought a C-section was easier but yoh, perhaps I should just pray to God for a natural birth again.

Congratulations mommy!! My story is similar but I was fully dilated, they broke my waters and but my son was not engaging. They gave me an hour and nothing then we had to go for C-section. I also cried shem but everything went well. Never been so disappointed yet grateful.

Omg why is your story identical to mine! Literally before you talked about the button for pain relief and how the nurses keep reminding you to do that I was thinking ‘I wonder if she got the button’ 😂 and today I am down with the flu and have the weirdest lower back pain locking my movement (27 months postpartum) I went to see a doctor for the flu and told them about the lower back pain and he said it’s because of the epidural 😢 (the injection to your spine for a C-Section) kore I just went back to that frustration I felt that day! I don’t know what I’m missing out on though because it’s my first and only baby so far. Thanks for sharing and welcome baby K ❤🎉

My first baby was an emergency csection ,2nd time i prayed that my body would go into labor naturally so could deliver which it did but I had a similar experience with my 2nd baby where i was in labor for many hours but i was stuck on 5cm so doctors sent me for an emergency c-section, I was abit disappointed but grateful.

Beautiful birth story.
I remember with my first born,I had a birth plan and I wanted to have a natural birth with no epidural etc, baby girl was 2 weeks overdue and we were also induced. After 12 hours of labour, she turned breech, so she was gonna come feet first, so we had to have an emergency c section. I was sad that the birth plan had changed, but hearing her first cry and seeing how excited my husband was, made me forgot about everything else 😍.
My healing was with my first c section was not nice at all.
Then 6yrs later had my 2nd girl, she was born in winter and surprisingly I was on my feet day after giving birth and the wound healed so much quicker in winter than my summer c section.
And I agree with you, c section recovery is very painful, especially first few days, when I was breast feeding literally felt like i was contracting too 😂.

Sorry Nthabiseng that your C-section experience was that bad. It's not always like that, I had a C section 2 years ago and I had zero pains during and after, I even weaned myself off pain meds after 4 days. I hope next time, if ever, will be much better.

With the c-section part you were telling my story 😂😂😂😂😂😂. As a first time mom, that experience made me not want anymore kids😂😂😂😂. It's not nice but everyone has a different story .
Congratulations again mommy! I had dates,pineapple and did everything i could do to speed up the process.Thank God,it worked out for me coz i got to hospital and within two hours my 2nd born baby was born. Just like you i am too scared of C-section ,the pains from it. But in the end the most important thing is to deliver the baby safely regardless of the method. We are grateful that there is an option like C-section to allow moms who wouldn’t deliver their babies to do so safely.

Congratulations mommy! I'm sorry you went through so much pain, and glad it's all behind you now and you are enjoying being a mom of 2.
I've heard that unplanned c-sections are harder to recover from because your body gets a double dose of work, i.e. the labouring and then the wound recovery. For the benefit of those who might be feeling scared of c-sections, I had a planned C-section (twice) and I did not feel much pain. The pain management protocol worked very well. I took a shower and my first walk the evening of my birth. Not saying it was easy peasy but it wasn't too painful or unmanageable. I would have chosen natural birth if I could, but the c-section route can be smooth as well.

I ony have one child and after 40 hours of lablour the baby's heart rate started to go down, so I had to do an emergency C- section. Mine went well, I never had any pain after. In fact I walked out of the hospital even though the hospital wanted me to sit on a wheelchair. My expetience was so good that I thought if I were to have a secind baby I would choose C section again.
Anyways the important thing is our babies are here and healthy. How they came to the world becomes secondary.
