I work with a black man born & raised in Nigeria. I've never heard him say he was owed anything, or was denied anything because he's black. He's one of the smartest, hardest working guys in his department. He doesn't have the 'black entitlement' attitude, won't tolerate his kids having it, and thanks God he lives in the USA!

I’m white, my dad grew up in the 20s and 30s. His father abandoned his mother brother and sister. He grew up in a rat, mice and roach infested apartment, where the bathtub stood on end in the corner of the kitchen and the water was heated on the stove and the entire family used the same water. Baths were once a week, they shared a toilet with the entire floor, his mother died when he was 18. He didn’t finish high school. He fought in WWII. His only talent was driving a truck. He worked 50 - 60 hours a week his entire life. He was married to my mom till her death from cancer, she died when I was 19. He bought a house and bottom of the line new cars. Raised 4 kids and always put us first. We were not rich, there was no white supremacy that gave him anything. It’s called being responsible and not repeating the failures of your parents. Whites are not a block of rich people looking for ways to keep blacks down. Most are just working to survive and are tired of taking crap from liberal whites and blacks.

My grandfather was born in the 1910s, his daddy ran out on the family and my great grandmother worked herself to death by age 35. My grandfather got his first job at age 13 because he lied about his age so he could support his mother and his 7 siblings, all under 10 at the time. They were the kind of poor where being able to eat more than once a day all week was luxury, where having clothes of the same cloth was unheard of. He fought the Germans in ww2. He married my grandmother, raised 8 kids. Adopted another. He worked as a linemen hanging new lines to rural areas 60-80 hours a week, and when money got tight he got a second job, as did my grandmother worked 30-40 hours a week. Neither went to highschool. They gave everything to my aunts, uncles and father. My grandmother was dirt floor poor, get a job at 13 at sears delivery to keep the family farm alive poor. Neither of them thought they were better or worse than anyone else. They lived to see two of their children become millionaires, and four of the grand children do the same. Only them are rich, and most of us are still working over 50 hours a week. But we are comfortably middle class. I could say more, but it would out myself and I say inflammatory things on here. I dony want to hear how blacks in the same time frame couldn't do what my family did, with one biracial grandparent, and other listed as black because they were east European. Meankng they had all the legal hardships as an African American. Is life hard? Always has been, but I'm tired of the mewling.
