I suspect CLB is the only small athlete that has a chance. While the other small competitors have similar gymnastic skills few have her level of lifting prowess.
Bridgers dominate it regionals last year that's why I was saying, then again I think regionals is not as tough as the games and there is not that much competition compare to the games.
I love the rush I get from Crossfit workouts, but it's definitely hard on your shoulders. If you have any type of existing shoulder problems, Crossfit usually makes it worse. My recommendation is to avoid the exercises that hurt.
Is it me or Davisdottir bar muscle-ups are all no-reps? Toes passing the bar before she gets on top. I dunno just asking, seems like in the rulebook she cant
have you ever seen the gymnastics Kipping? well she does it like that since katrin does that bar thing in gymnastics ( I'm not sure what it's called ). but it's not a rule if crossfit actually follows gymnastics technic. Annie did something like that in 2012 ( I think that was the year) and she wasn't called out for it.
+joel3valles I've seen the gymnastics kip, but as Dave Durante mentionned, it is not admissible as a bar muscle up by the crossfit standards, it's been reviewed two years ago in the Online Judge's Course, so the rules must have changed since 2012, Katrin is still a beast though

+Simon Therien oh ok makes sense, I didn't know about that rule. well you can always look back at last year's games and see the muscle ups and how they're judged. but I agree she is a beast, she didn't win for no reason.
Tovar's kip is clearly not as powerful which requires more pull-up to bar dip transition and consequently quicker fatigue. I wonder if she dialed it back, was tired or is she just doesn't have the hip kip power of the Bridgers and Davidsdottir?
+James Darden Well, she's also just not as good. However, Katrin would still being doin this workout for another 5 minutes if she was getting no-repped on her BMU's. And Bridgers is like 5'0" and a former gymnast so it's easier for her to wheel around the bar quicker.
