Cheryl, it depends on what your making 1 ball of each will make the size of cover like the purple and you will have enough left to make the other side of a cusin in the oposite colour so say you do white V's with blue clucsters, you will have enough left to do 1 with Blue V's and white clusters. for a 12x12 cusion cover you will need 2 x 100g balls for the clusters and 1 x 100g for the V's for a 60stitch wide pram blanket with about 25 rows.
So pretty. I'm going to make a headband and matching belt and then go on to make a blanket. Thank you so much for the beautiful pattern and great instructions.

Hi Allison. I'm relatively new to crochet and I've watched this video several times now and feel quite confident with your excellent tutorial of making this blanket. I just wondered if you could help me regarding size. I have two balls of paintbox yarn in green and two in white what sort of size blanket would I get from this amount and any idea on how many chains to start. I am addicted now to all your videos they are so well explained and easy to follow along. Thank you.
you will use more of the main colour but i dont know what size to do im hopless at recomending sizes

Thank you Alison for this great tutorial, so easy to follow, I have tried this stitch before and always get stuck on the sides, you explain it so well. Cheers.
Do t worry if your sides are wonky the clusters all around the edges will hide it. Whenbyou finish the V row either go into the 2 chain of the riw below or the very bottom of the chain of 3 in the last cluster if you know what i mean tgenbyour sides should be relativly straight.

It's beautiful, I will definitely try this, I always seem to have problems keeping the sides straight.
When you do the V stitch at the end of the row For the sides on my colours either makes sure you go into the very botom of the yellow three chain of the cluster or even go into the 2 chain of the blue that will keep it straight. Even if its a bit wonkey once you do the edge all around you wont notice it. Have fun this makes beautiful table mats
