Wow, a nice long video of cleaning, you are spoiling us! This video almost encouraged me to clean up a little around my house, but I came to my senses, I only clean up the aluminum cans in my house so I can get money back for them.
When my kids were teens, they were required to do chores like dust. Easy stuff. When it was obvious that it wasn't done correctly, I taped down dust bunnies and left notes under things to see if they really were doing their chores. Of course, they weren't. Dust bunnies lasted for weeks taped in place. Notes were never seen hidden under things they were supposed to move and clean under. When I brought this to their attention, I took back $5 Of the $500 they were given to split between birthdays and Christmas for every offence. They had no recourse as I had proof. One learned quickly, and one held out, and when that second one wanted something expensive, we said no because he couldn't pay his share as he didn't do his chores.
