The more I listen to this duet, the more I like it and the more I realise how beautiful it is. Thanks for this video - it has very good audio quality. But since when can Dimash be called "western", even from the point of view of his opera/classical vocal training? He who so masterfully mixes different genres in music, from east and west or wherever from, mixes his Kazakh traditional heritage and so many other traditions! Here, he masterfully does things with his vocal cords which makes the meeting of these two voices harmonious and pleasurable, to make this meeting of "west" and "east" as epic as possible, with a total success! Li Yugang's voice is beautiful too, they will hopefully work more together in the future.
Wow !! I grew up listening to Chinese Opera but never have I heard it blend with Western Opera style - this is just stunning ! I've listened to this more than a few times now and I'm still shaking my head in awe ! This is just pure musical art. Thank you for posting.

Dimash is not eastern nor western. He encompasses every side. For him, music wise.....all options are on his table.

Dimash sings in whistle registe F#7. Not every whistle note is d8. Najwyzsza nuta w tym wystempie jest F#7. (nie d8).
