Everything that Jay Park said in "Drip" is 100% true about him and his life. When he says everyone wants a piece of him and he has bought 4 or 5 companies, that is all true. He has pretty much created his own hip-hop empire and he is one of the most successful solo hip-hop artists in Korea. Jay Park is Korean-American from Seattle, Washington. (Jessi is also Korean-American from New York.) Jay started out when he was a teenager as the leader of the Kpop boy group 2PM under JYP Entertainment, the same company as GOT7, Twice, Day6, Stray Kids, etc. 2PM debuted in 2008 (a couple of months after SHINee). 2PM are still active and this year is their 12th anniversary since debut. However, due to some controversy and some misunderstandings Jay left the group in 2009/2010 and went back home to Washington, but he was so popular in Korea that fans demanded he come back and continue making music. So in 2011 he came back to Korea and signed with a small company and became a solo hip-hop artist. But being under a Korean company still didn't allow him to truly make the music he wanted to make, so in 2013 Jay became the founder and CEO of his own Korean record label named AOMG. The Label is named after the Seattle-based B-Boy group, Jay Park was a member of called "Art of Movement." In 2017 Jay also started an international record label called H1GHR music and in 2018 he was signed to Jay-Zs record label Roc Nation as he made his way into the American Music Industry. Jay has wrote and produced music for a lot of other hip-hop artists and not only is he an awesome rapper, but he is an amazing dancer and vocalist as well Jay's style is very western influenced and he prefers to produce songs in English, but he will always have that Korean influence and he has many K-hip-hop songs which are amazing as well. As you mentioned, Jay Park is now 33 years old, but a few years ago he was named by Forbes Magazine Korea as one of the top celebrities 30 under 30 to watch and he is one of the most successful solo artists in the industry, he is worth millions now. He has that take no prisoners, "I know exactly who I am" vibe, because he answers to no one. He is his own man and he is the boss so he does what he wants. If you like Jay's flow, then you have to see his freestyle on the U.S. radio show Sway in the Morning. ua-cam.com/video/KNtxhlBK6Fw/v-deo.html You will be blown away by his lyricism and flow. He is looked to as one of the founders of hip-hop culture in Korea.
I am laughing so hard from you cutting to a clip of a previous video... I can see little mama sitting there in the movie theater looking at her son like wth...? And him just ignoring her looks and watching the movie... Ahahaha! Glad I found this channel! You two are so cute!
You are the cooler mom, for Asians it's Asian don't raisin and I agree Jay Park is beast, I was a big fan of the Red Tape and still am but I didn't really care for the Blue tape but then I was listening to it in my car a for whatever reason I really started to like it now I think it edges out the Red tape for me just a little bit, Jay Park and Golden with those R&B vocals
Thank you so much but I’m not that cool...in my children’s eyes 😂. I love Golden and his R&B vocals. His voice is the voice I didn’t realize I needed 😬🥰! Them together on Oscar is an awesome collaboration! Thanks again!
🔥🔥 Love Jessi and Jay together. I hope they do another collab soon. 😂 hahah! I’m not the only one! Jay does sometimes look like Loco! (And sometimes Gray but we’re talking about Loco here. Lol).. And yeah. Jay Park was in a breakdancing crew before he was dancing in kpop. And now he’s in KHipHop doin KRap and KR&B. *DRIP* has 10M views on UA-cam. . I think it’s just not as popular as *NUNU NANA* in S Korea because DRIP is in all English and she and Jay actually say the word “F#%king” here and I think 🤔 in NUNU NANA she only said *F. U.* ...and her feather/pearl scenes in this is even less dressed than when she was in a bra and big shorts in NUNU NANA 🤷🏻♀️😂😭 but that’s JUST a GUESS! No other idea why this didn’t blow up. I love this 👏🥰💯🙌🤣
And here J-Park is very like mob boss type style.. He can really look gangster and hood and then clean it up to him owner companies and shit... I love it!
I actually looked it up online after this and everything says she was born in 1988 which would make her 31 in American age and slightly older in Korean. Thanks for watching!

That was also kind of my thought. The content and the language would make it not as widely popular in S. Korea. Thanks for watching!
