Sorry to hear about the gecko but its better that it doesn't suffer anymore. Now make sure you take the enclosure it was in and steam it properly, wash it with hot water and throw away everything that was inside. There is also spray for cleaning reptile enclosures that kills crypto but I would use it after steaming and washing as third insurance.

Yea everything got thrown out and I cleaned the enclosure really well
