A long time ago, RM also said something like Jimin such a selfless, non-competitive, supportive member. Jimin always posted every member's release on his IG to promote their releases. I think BTS survived because you don't have toxic jealousy.
Oh Jimin is very competitive, just look at his achievements, he's an overachiever and perfectionist if anything. He's just not competitive with his group members, as like they have said countless times, they're family.
Yeah it suited the song overall and added more style to it, plus you can clearly distinguish his voice from yh effects, it's very clear since his vocals also seemed more solid this album, they had more foundation than before
Why are people always focused on Jimin’s autotune but never comment about any of the other members. They also use autotune. And some use it even even more than Jimin.
I did read comments about the others too. Also I feel because of Jimin's unique tone , the autotune may be more obvious for some people. I notice it on everyone, don't really mind it but I can't not notice it. It's not a bad thing, it's a choice.

This was suppose to give a VHS 2000 or so vibes . It did! Jimin definitely does not need autotune! Throughout the MV there are dozens of things that show this throw back. Autotune was used a lot back then! If you watch his live performance on Jimmy Fallon it is pure voice. I love it!

The auto tune purists come out. With any BTS member it's not because they need it, it's because it creates a certain vibe. No different than instrument selection. I think k the people complaining are stuck with an attitude based on other people's work.
I was most looking forward to Jino’s comments/opinion on Joon’s declaration of love and trust for Jimin and his commitment to always be there for him if he needs him. But Jino was silent…🙁
I disagree with RM...I love 'Face.' It's an intense, emotional album. Just very different from 'Muse,' but not less than. Both are great in their own right.

Regarding autotune; I think people want his stripped down vocals. I think they want to hear his voice for what it actually is and I guess that can be said about all of the members.
But the song doesn't suit that style...he literally have acoustic versions of his songs before if people want to listen to his striped vocals, why are people acting like they never sing live without accompaniment or whatever? The song's style needs that kind of production and his vocals are still easy to distinguish among all of that...I think people are just using these autotune pretexts as a gotcha thing.... it's not even criticism to begin with since in western pop it's always used even with the most powerhouse vocalists, it doesn't suddenly make you able to sing well, it's just used as another instrument in a way for modern music
there was autotune but he did not needed it it was like a make up, I suppose he like it, like he blench his hair although he has luxurious black hair naturally, and it is the same thing to his voice, he wanted to wear make up on his voice and he did but hes natural voice is perfect the life version is there to prouve it

People don't have to like it, it's not for everyone, there's an acoustic version, live performance. Agree on RM/Kim Namjoon one is an introverted extrovert mixed and the other is extroverted introvert depending on the day and the scene who shows up but always the same being. I know makes no sense but the 7 coming together doesn't either. On the autotune, while I hate it , I agree w/ a few that just the right blend was used. I think it serves the purpose to make accented English more palpable for monolingual western ears to follow so no excuse for radio play etc. and making the live performances the must see and hear in 2025 when he's out.

When Adele uses autotune (and she does, if subtly) you can catch it because you listen to her you know what real singing sounds like. Who is autotuned in the way all early 2000s pop was. And in this case it very much more about capturing the vibe and feel of nostalgia and familiarity. We all know Jimin can really sing. But autotune is really just another instrument. People really don’t want non-autotuned music. It sounds incomplete.
I agree with RM....Rebirth is a standout track. I also think Who is a prefectly crafted commercially appealing piece. Its designed to hit #1 .....everything else i can give a miss.
While I love this album…I did scream out loud “why”as listening to each song. His voice is so beautiful as is. I am all for autotune here and there for style and I assume it’s what he wanted. I think too much of it loses some of the uniqueness and character to his voice that we all love. Saying all of this… still an amazing album and I support his choices.

Why are people in the comment so annoyed at those who prefer minimal autotune even if for stylistic choice? Those who love to hear his natural vocal more, because it is so beautiful? Why are they talking like they are the producers? Deciding for us that more autotune is more suitable? I had to listen to this more than once to get used to it to enjoy it. This is why I love LIKE CRAZY. The texture of the music is still metallic with a lot of electro and synth. But the processing of his vocal still allows his UNIQUE color to shine through.
